Comment 2018-07-23 00:38:24 @viktoriyani   Good one.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:37:54 @nv21089   Hadag Nachash are the best popular musicians in Israel. They have a rap aspect to them, but they are mostly brilliant multi-instrumentalists who know how to put together a great song, great hooks, and fantastic performance. My American non-Jewish friends who don't speak a letter of Hebrew even dig them. Great stuff.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:37:18 @world-travel-pro   I remember a photo of a guy who claimed to have been a drug addict at the time. There was a photo takes of him with friends or family or something, and in the photo there's a really creepy dog face with yellow eyes by his shoulder, staring at the camera. Obviously a dog couldn't have gotten it's face up there, and anyway he would have noticed or at least recognized the dog if there was one in the house. Apparently he took it as a warning that there was evil in him or something like that and stopped doing drugs. I haven't been able to find the photo since I saw on some Animal Planet show a couple years ago. I don't believe in the supernatural, but it's pretty creepy. So if anyone has it/can track it down for me, I'd be very happy. I'm sure it's buried somewhere deep inside the internet.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:36:51 @anton-kostroma   I like how, even though the map is wide open, they still managed to make it feel close and frantic.

Comment 2018-07-23 00:35:30 @eveuncovered   Sungl asses Rendering asses in webgl has got nothing on sungl!
Comment 2018-07-23 00:35:03 @juliank   It's so cool to think that it had an entirely different body before hand and that its testing out it's new legs and antennae for the first time. Like imagine waking up and finding that you are now a giant eagle or something and have to just figure out you body
Comment 2018-07-23 00:34:21 @mikegun   My guide to getting to know people in Saskatoon: Do you enjoy running? Check out The Running Room for running clubs Do you enjoy rec sports? PlaySask allows you to register as a single player where they find you a team to play on. They're doing beach dodgeball starting in May. I have a team too, if you want to PM me Are you religious? A lot of churches have 'College and Career' programs where you meet people in your age group. Go down to Escape Sports and talk to the owners, Marcus and Jonathan. They're great guys and can put you in touch with groups that do all kinds of outdoor activities all year round. Like video games? Go down to Bartari or Mana Bar, they are set up so you can easily make acquaintances while gaming Like board games? King Me Boardgamery is set up so you can be placed with people who are looking for players to join their games Like comic books or nerd culture? Go hang out at Amazing Stories. Great and welcoming crowd there that'll chat your ear off. Into DnD or MTG? Head down to Dragon's Den for all your DnD needs. They run games so you can sit in and make friends there That's it for now, I'll update as I think of more things.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:33:24 @andrianna   I've always envied people who had not just siblings (because, yeah, learning to have another person in your space is hard), but siblings of the opposite sex. Growing up with an understanding of how the opposite sex thinks/feels about their body, about friendships, how they deal with fears and insecurities, and react to power-struggles among their peers... all that shit is a complete fucking mystery to only-children, and it's an complete mind-fuck when you run head on into it in your first relationship.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:32:51 @timsaid   Congratulations to bryberg on winning this round!
Comment 2018-07-23 00:32:12 @michalx2008x   why did piglet look in the toilet?
Comment 2018-07-23 00:31:33 @future24   Originally the church was meant to commemorate the live of Kaiser Wilhelm I. Nowadays it is there to remind us of the atrocities and destruction scale of war
Comment 2018-07-23 00:30:54 @jr006   Great Viewe
Comment 2018-07-23 00:30:21 @andrianna   I still haven't forgiven Beth for shooting Mr. Poopy butthole.
Comment 2018-07-23 00:29:51 @tarazkp   Lol did Avery throw away the knife from under the rav seat too? And Ofcourse clean up the blood from under the rav seat?
Comment 2018-07-23 00:29:18 @flamingirl   real nice
Comment 2018-07-23 00:28:36 @alexandre   Stunning area, to be sure. We'd spent many wonderful days riding a motorcycle all over the gorgeous Swiss Alps, but coming into the Dolomites took our breath away...
Comment 2018-07-23 00:28:09 @gringalicious   Props, props and more props. (not all in the same shot but a good catalogue for different foods). Also as said natural lighting, get some smallish reflectors (very cheap options on amazon/eBay with a double sided cover for diffuse, white, black, gold and silver reflections) and lots of practice. Shoot everything, best way to learn what does/doesn't work.
Comment 2018-07-21 13:08:12 @dulborah   Thank You
Comment 2018-07-21 00:47:54 @perfspots   You can get onto Sentosa free if you don't take the tram, entrance to universal studios is a separate entrance fee. Deciding on what to do really depends on what your interests are. If you like food, do research on different hawker centers. If you like flowers go to Garden's by the Bay and the botanical gardens.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:47:27 @upheaver   This does solve some mechanical problems but it does so by creating roleplay problems. Why does the world only allow them to get a long rest after 6 combat encounters? It doesn’t make sense unless the world is very different from our own.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:46:45 @enforcer48   For those wondering about the comment graveyard, I will not allow victim blaming in the sub. Nor will generalizations about groups of people be tolerated.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:46:03 @kingscrown   The newsletter is always a great read... always nice to see a new edition in my mailbox. Thank you for your efforts ByteBall Jesus
Comment 2018-07-21 00:45:18 @reseller   Do you have any tips on how to build a Steemit channel
Comment 2018-07-21 00:44:45 @me-tarzan   I'm fairly positive that those "transactions" are transactions on the Steemit media platform (read, write, comment, like, upvote, etc.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:43:54 @spenceryan   Their location at Lafayette Village is one of my favorite North Raleigh coffee joints. Cool staff and tasty biscuits + apple butter!
Comment 2018-07-21 00:43:18   Also, don't tell people how much you have.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:42:48 @medicbtom   Happy bday xby. Here's hoping the patent goes well and we can celebrate many more of these!
Comment 2018-07-21 00:42:06 @terrybrock   I don't get why you didn't re book with them and just leave a day or two later? If you booked your flights separate from each other, than this is a scenario that is possible and really how are they liable for it?
Comment 2018-07-21 00:41:42 @abh12345   Oh FYI Find your stats and most downvoted here as I had a hard time locating my most downvoted comment.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:41:09 @suniltikar   So payment platform CopPay will process the crypto payments for 4 local Samsung stores in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius and Kaunas (blog post.) Cool! But title implies it will be accepted globally and on official site.. that would be nice, but I highly doubt that based on the blog post.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:40:33 @fivefiveeleven   Its Ok?
Comment 2018-07-21 00:39:51 @mistakili   Imagine the anticipation of being the last one
Comment 2018-07-21 00:39:12 @socky   It is impossible to know which one will be more valuable in the future, because the value of anything is determined by human behavior. So if people in the future decide to buy/use SBD over STEEM, SBD will be more valuable.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:38:30 @originalmrspice   Party Up On A Friday
Comment 2018-07-21 00:37:48 @thelifestyler   Oh wow, it's really a fantastic App. Really what I was looking for to install it on people's devices. So simple at that! I'm also sharing the same mindset as you on that topic, that's why I'm trying to establish a Service for small merchants and alike around my Location, and this is basically the kind of Thing we're wanting to make merchants use. It's perfect.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:37:15 @joeparys   I feel honored to read this message and I'm so happy that you are part of this community. Thanks for all the efforts and thanks for being such a genial-nice person. I put all my best efforts to spend quality time with fellow members like you and this turned out to be a good plan because I believe now you became a source of inspiration for many other members here.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:26:30 @willsparks88   My husband, of 25 years, and I like to "Flip the Town". We flip a coin to make decisions on whether we head right or left, head into a pub, or bar, or bookstore or eat dinner at a certain place, taking turns flipping and picking the thing to be flipped on. It is a fun way to let spontaneous decisions rule the date. Some really great memories have come from this game.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:25:57 @sugandhaseth   Steepshot for the Web is getting better. R
Comment 2018-07-21 00:25:33 @tatjanastan   From my observations, a good percentage of Gurus didn't have success to begin with. Maybe 40% have done something related to what they teach. Something like 5% (ok even less!) really know their stuff. As you said, they are mostly pitching dry models, that worked 5 years ago.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:24:57 @abusereports   So, Clearpoll prevents bots from voting?
Comment 2018-07-21 00:24:36 @jonny-clearwater   Greymane and Li-Ming kits seems very skill-orented and that's a good thing imo. But skill doesn't only rely on skill shots. Illidan or TLV have no skill shots and are very hard to play / punishing for bad players (and both for very different reasons). I'm glad they made Li-Ming such a skillshot heavy character but I don't think the game is lacking skill shots right now.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:24:12 @kwakumax   I jokingly tell my husband that I married him for his money, I just didn't pay attention. (It's funny cuz we're poor as hell)
Comment 2018-07-21 00:23:42 @haejin   i used to work for practiceworks before kodak and carestream got all software happy. supported a dinosaur product called OMSComp. it was a total piece of shit. support staff manually reindexing a database remotely, backdoors to table views with an invisible button and universal password, constantly fighting crappy modems with pcanywhere or citrix metaframe.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:23:12 @hazretiyasuo   Night riding is awesome, totally agree! I kinda recommend finding a group night ride (or at least taking a buddy) for safety on a night ride, but yeah—it's a whole new trail at night!
Comment 2018-07-21 00:22:42 @haejin   How are they staying afloat? I can think of so many music streaming services that people use today.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:21:27 @steemcafe   Are the only two wallets available for STEEM, on Steemit, and Vessel? Anything else you guys recommend, I'm super new at STEEM.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:20:36 @appics   Go somewhere. That is my biggest regret at 31, that we got married/house/kids very quickly and I never had the chance to travel. Always wanted to hit up europe for a month or two, on my own... Someday!
Comment 2018-07-21 00:20:03 @kingscrown   Big huge!
Comment 2018-07-21 00:19:30 @elizbethleavos   Isn't he an Ecuador citizen?
Comment 2018-07-21 00:18:57 @stackin   Get a paint marker and bake after decorating the cup, regular sharpie will wash off and realistically you shouldn't be putting your mouth on it repeatedly.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:18:15 @haejin   Scary looking chart! Seems like the next crisis is going to be yuuge
Comment 2018-07-21 00:17:42 @corbettreport   It certainly was chilling. A couple weeks after finishing I started thinking about the contrast between the ultra rich right vs left. The right is using their "do good" money to help themselves (Koch's) while the left is trying to help those in need - Gates, Buffet, Zuckerberg giving away 90% of their fortunes.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:17:12 @gunzgaming   Thanks a lot for your detailed and passionate comments. Coming up with the parameters for these type of tests is always a challenge and a balancing act involving a desire to be able to track issues quickly as developers, while simultaneously attempting to create realistic game scenarios. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and I will forward it to the Keen Software House Developers, who are are eager to obtain as much feedback from the community as possible. Thanks again! : )
Comment 2018-07-21 00:16:27 @pressfortruth   And so the pendulum swings... Well, there's another election in a few years. Just have to work on better selling the policy idea. In the meantime, maybe someone will find a new antibiotic against that completely resistant gonorrhea going around.
Comment 2018-07-21 00:15:45 @krnel   A leading youth campaigner against rape and sexual violence has been arrested for possession of child pornography and attempting to arrange sexual encounters with children. Joel Davis, 22, co-founder of advocacy group Youth to End Sexual Violence and a former UN youth ambassador for Sexual Violence in Conflict, appeared in court in Manhattan on Tuesday. He has been charged with enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, as well as child pornography offences. In text exchanges with FBI agents posing as paedophiles, Davis “allegedly arranged to meet the nine-year-old daughter of one of the undercover agents and with the purported two-year-old daughter of the officer's girlfriend”, the Daily Mail reports. Child pornography, including images of infants and toddlers being abused, was allegedly also found in his possession. Police said that, during questioning after his arrest, Davis “admitted to sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy in the past and keeping child porn images on his phone”, NBC reports.

Comment 2018-07-19 00:33:48 @activistpost   Amaury I love you! Thank you for regaining Satoshi's Bitcoin. It is fun again. It is growing again. I can introduce friends and merchants again. Clearly there are those who have destroyed such spirit and desperately want to destroy this newly regained spirit, what can I do to help protect it?
Comment 2018-07-19 00:32:57 @appics   SingularDTV Swiss ?? Dissapointed ICO investor here, first I heard of that. Maybe they opened a P.O. box in Zug .

Comment 2018-07-19 00:29:03 @jznsamuel   Not rotten, a bit crunchy though
Comment 2018-07-19 00:28:30 @tarazkp   The 'Counter Surge' deck is a midrange deck that attempts to exploit +1/+1 counter synergy with [[Winding Constrictor]], which amplifies the number of counters things get. It has some removal spells and some protection spells to block your enemies' removal as well. Vehicle Rush centers around the Vehicle card type and has a number of cards that are directly related to them- creatures that get stronger, spells that do more and lands that are better if you control artifacts, as well as creatures that power up vehicles they crew.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:28:03 @uwelang   You should normally get a Steemit account after around 7 days waiting on average (yes, that isn't exactly great, but we can't fix what they do). And no, DTube won't separate from Steemit and the Steem blockchain.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:27:30 @gringalicious   I downvoted this because it’s a lie. First of all you didn’t even doctor up the cake mix. Secondly it’s not molten. At least call it “mock molten” or “cheat molten” or something. And finally i dont think this is a good idea. You’re gonna have to sloppily spoon the spilled ganache on each cake slice or they won’t get any. Eh. Don’t really see the point of this except to make it so you can make a recipe gif.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:27:00 @jonsnow1983   Proved that it's fake? Look at the colors/levels in the image. Anyone who's ever opened Lightroom or Photoshop would immediately tell that this has been processed and not subtly at all. Another thing is that photoshopping planes like that for a "crazy timing" effect... Is exactly that, the OP isn't trying to hide that this is real, it's obvious that it's not, based on composition. The ridiculous thing is when people outside of photography communities think that some collage is real and go around trying to prove that it's not.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:26:39 @thelordsfinest   I'll pump you so full of lead you'll be using your dick as pencil.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:26:03 @juvyjabian   I like Warm Greetings with increasing volume on my Note 5. So fucking peaceful
Comment 2018-07-19 00:25:30 @aweber   Nothing more ornery than an old cat. I had an old cat and she was extremely demanding. We were to cater too her every whim. If we tried to scold her she just looked at us like, "if you haven't hit me in almost two decades, you ain't going to start now". And she was right.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:25:06 @dobartim   Thank you sir! I appreciate your advice for what I've learned in SteemSchool and the friends I've got here.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:24:30 @eveuncovered   This is such a huge thing to be aware of. Some of my friends/ coworkers do this regularly and it's so painfully awkward to witness. Not only does it make you reek of desperation, but it forces the other person into a situation they never asked for and probably aren't comfortable with. There's nothing wrong with being bold and asking someone out, but for the love of god at least get to know the person first. All my best relationships started as friendships.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:23:54 @soyrosa   I was thinking the same thing. And he could get his preferred shot by cropping the shot he already took. Or just by setting up an electronically triggered camera, or filming video and later picking out the frame he likes best etc It seems very classically Japanese to insist on achieving it purely through practice and skill. Equal parts estimable and masochistic
Comment 2018-07-19 00:23:18 @oldtimer   Typical Friday night.. don't worry
Comment 2018-07-19 00:16:15 @princessmewmew   Oh man, I agree with shorter intros by far. But the reason we have them in the first place has to do with the fact that every video is going to be someone's first impression of your channel. We just wanna make a good impression, namely that we're decent at making content that's entertaining to watch. Whether that means decent audio mixing, fancy visuals or editing, or whatever else, that first impression is the only thing between you sticking around or leaving to find someone else to watch.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:15:48 @steemswift   an anyone compare and contrast this to RaiBlocks?
Comment 2018-07-19 00:15:24 @yagzy   no but it sucks
Comment 2018-07-19 00:15:00 @rootworm   Unfortunately (for Steemit) most Steem transactions are not actual crypto transactions. "Liking" a post on Steem does not qualify as a transaction; nor does commenting on one. The generation of Steemit coins by content providers may qualify, but most action the platform counts as transactions simply aren't.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:14:39 @outrayjust   This couldn't possibly be intentional on IMB's part, could it? He meant to write more books, no?
Comment 2018-07-19 00:14:15 @yadavji535   We did this in college once. Not the ones where everybody takes a turn addressing the class, but the ones where you have to get up and introduce yourself to people. So I turned around and face the nearest stranger. "Hello, my name is Timmy_TED". And nothing hes hiding his mouth with his hand. He had a very worried look on his face. So I repeated myself. "Hi, my name is Timmy_TED. What's your name?"
Comment 2018-07-19 00:13:39 @gonein30years   went from 30-50 person class sizes to 200+ class sizes. It's hard to meet new people! I rely on the ol' "Can I borrow your -----?" and immediately follow up with something they're looking at one their computer (or a book or whatever). Anything to start the conversation. I also ask questions I know the answer to that I think they would be an expert in.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:13:12 @arolan   6/10 if you show your teeth, 7,5/10 if you don’t. Just get braces.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:12:42 @empanadamecanica   I make a variety of baozi, which really isn't that different from empanadas. Here's a few to try out: Ground pork, chives, garlic. A classic in my book Pizza - Pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, pizza sauce Biscuits and gravy - Make a thick sausage gravy and let it cool down. It should become thick enough to use as a filling. When it heats up, it becomes more liquidy again. Just be careful with that hot gravy Cheese burger - ground beef, diced onions and tomatoes, shredded cheese
Comment 2018-07-19 00:12:12 @coconut-chanel   Lando: Today we have we have animal specialist Chewbacca on the show!
Comment 2018-07-19 00:11:48 @beatnation   I ask, "would you like to know about me personally or professionally?" I say it with a smile so it doesn't come off condescending, just as a genuine question. If they say personally, I have a chance to show off who I am and why I'd suit their culture and if they ask professionally, I know that they're wanting to remain strictly business focused.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:10:57 @blockchainyouth   First heard of Dr.Peterson on those sjw cringe compilations, never thought much of it. It wasn't until his 1st appearance on the jre, that I really got into him. First time I heard it I had to stop, I kept breaking down. I took me a few days to get trough it, every point he made shook me to my core. I was at a very dark point in my life, was about to hit 300lbs, feeling stuck in life, and completely depressed. I use to wake up angry that I was still alive. The only thing keeping my afloat was a long term relationship with my girlfriend. I used her as a "drug" if you will to feed my happiness.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:10:33 @manoksiam   That is a lot of HP fanfiction. What about/what kind of stories?
Comment 2018-07-19 00:09:39 @sinergia   Agreed, there is already concern for the longevity of the game in the community. There are a lot of players who have dropped thousands of dollars on the game - I understand he's sponsored, so pay him in money, energy, gold, discs, anything but straight up sending him l/d nat 5's.
Comment 2018-07-19 00:08:57   The post-launch briefing talked about a continuing effort to introduce tests (demonstration objectives) in to cargo dragon missions to help improve crewed dragon validation. The question during the briefing pointed to adding defects (of some kind or degree) although there was no response to confirm the introduction of a defect (such as in a heat shield), as details of such tests would not be made public.

Comment 2018-07-18 00:49:21 @donkeypong   Throw away just in case Let me start by saying I love my child, no matter what. Her actions disappointed me, which may be splitting hairs, but anyway: Technically my stepdaughter. I never planned/wanted kids, but fell in love with a man who had sole custody of his 9 year old daughter, and realized pretty immediately that I loved her too. Bio-mom is a dangerous narcissist (both husband and kid have scars from stab wounds she inflicted) who has made 0 attempt to be in my kid's life since the divorce. Over the last 9 years my husband and I have worked hard to raise an intelligent, thoughtful, caring young adult. We've tried to nurture a healthy home life. Obviously, she and he were both in therapy following the split from her bio-mom and they both seemed to thrive. We do not speak negatively about her bio-mom. When she makes attempts to reconnect with her bio-mom, we are supportive and (inevitably) reassure her when those efforts are rebuffed. Both my husband and I want her to have a life full of positive experiences. We encouraged her to pursue extracurriculars and she seemed to innately pick up on instruments, dance, technical skills (she was an A student in AP Chem without even trying), etc. We rebuilt car engines with her and taught her to dance the Charleston for a school play. We have focused our income and energies on raising an engaged adult. When my husband was laid off, I got a second job, working 80 hours a week, so we could continue to support her extracurriculars while still saving for her college fund and, you know, pay bills. One of her extracurriculars was pageantry. Totally not my thing, but some of her friends had gotten into it and she wanted to try it out. Ok cool. I don't know if you're aware, but there is literally NO way to do a pageant on the cheap. Even with her dad making a couple of her costumes, we had poured over a grand into this. She needs one more dress and we were clear: You have to keep it under $500. There is literally no $$ left after that. She found her "perfect" dress that exceeded the budget by a few hundred. We said no. She goes to her bio-mom who's on husband #5 and quickly burning through his $$. Bio-mom buys the dress. Husband and I are actually pretty surprised and relieved (keep in mind, she doesn't pay child support or speak to our kid, so we weren't expecting much follow-thru there). Night of the pageant, one of the things all the contestants do is write up a bio of the people who supported them and helped make them who they are. They get to my kid and begin reading this beautiful piece she's written about her mom...her bio-mom...and all the "sacrifices" she made to raise her and her siblings (she has 2 half-siblings, neither of whom live with the bio-mom) and on and on...I was shell shocked. Most of her friends' parents in the audience are looking at me in confusion because no one's actually met her bio-mom before. I'm the one at every game, volunteering on all the booster clubs and sitting in PTA meetings. A few of them came to talk to me after, (kid placed first runner-up, BTW), saying how that wasn't right, etc. and I put on my smile and just reiterated how we want her to have a positive relationship with her bio-mom. This actually just happened recently. I'm still heartbroken and trying very hard not to be. I love my child. That doesn't change. But I'm also disappointed.

Comment 2018-07-18 00:40:27 @careywedler   You should make sure whatever brand you’re getting has the amount of cbd that the label says it has. The easiest way to tell this is by asking the company for their lab test results of the product. As far as your dog not responding, you have to experiment with dosage to get it correct. Animals are no different from people when it comes to cbd. Technically, cbd products are prohibited on Amazon, though there are still some products that sneak on there from time to time. Make sure what you have bought or are buying there actually has cbd.

Comment 2018-07-18 00:26:45 @hungryhustle   The 27 SRs are just the top TRX blockchain transaction processors. There will be many other nodes (for instance, up to 127 "SR candidates" will get rewards with the top 27 being "super"). There can many more nodes beyond that for processing. And that's just the blockchain. The actual decentralized internet (if such a thing happens) will be more like bittorrent, with web content squirreled-away and duplicated over millions of computers. A blockchain dApp will act as an addressing protocol that knows where all that content is across all the millions of computers hosting content. So currently, you use a World Wide Web (www) browser program like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, et cetera to access web content. It goes to a specific IP server address and looks for files to show you. A decentralized "browser" will instead search the blockchain for the closest holding location/address of the content and try to get it there. If it can't reach the content at the closest IP address, it will look for a mirror at another address.

I have literally watched my friends gambling for eight hours and not played a single cent while I watched them. I knew it was a fool's errand. But with crypto, it's different. While there is luck involved, at least I can do some research and feel like I'm making an informed decision. So having that little bit of control makes this attractive to me. Also, I am interested in tech and I don't play video games.

Comment 2018-07-18 00:19:48 @majes   This is pretty exciting news as this will be the first Litecoin conference ever. And the best part of it is that it's a completely community driven event. Even though the Litecoin Foundation is hosting the conference, it is being planned, organized, and executed by various volunteers on the Litecoin Foundation slack channel. Let's talk about what you can expect for the two-day conference on Sept. 14 and 15. Day 1 This is our main ticket event featuring prominent speakers such as Charlie Lee, Elizabeth Stark from Lightning Labs, and Bill Barhydt from Abra! What you can expect on this day is your traditional conference style format with various speakers throughout the day and the audience sitting theater style. Day 2 The focus of the second day is to make it accessible to as many people as possible. There will be an open expo featuring many businesses that accept Litecoin as a form of payment for people to walk through and check out. There will also be a small room dedicated to speakers who will be giving talks throughout the day as well. Speakers and topics from Day 2 include Abra, a talk on crypto and taxes, and the people behind Zulu Republic/Litevault. However, if you want in on these topics, I suggest you get there early as seating will be limited to about the first 200 people. PricesThere are two packages that we are selling: Day 1 and 2: $350 (Early Bird Price. Originally $490. P.S. This is a soft launch of the price. The Litecoin Foundation will officially be announcing this later on this week.) Day 2: $49 (Will jump to $100 closer we get to the event)

Comment 2018-07-18 00:17:00 @slowwalker   Really? The octopus at the end kind of didn't work for me... I liked the juxtaposition of gears and machinery on the Rhino, since they're basically tanks, but an octopus doesn't even have a skeleton, so the harsh metal parts inside it didn't jive with the body of the octopus itself. The other ones were much more impressive, IMHO.
Comment 2018-07-17 00:59:42 @haejin   Two short stories. First, I went to a Cracker Barrel twice in my life with my grandparents, and the second trip, every time I would turn around there would be the same old white man looking at our table. Like we were taking too long on our break and should have been back in the field 20 minutes ago. Second, I went to Panera the first time in my life last week, got my gluten, and was about to dip, and one of the dozens of white sorority girls said "I didn't even know they came here." Now she may have been talking about a lot of things, but for the purpose of the narrative, she was talking about black people.
Comment 2018-07-17 00:58:51 @hodgetwins   To the BTC "true believers", we're like the scabs crossing the picket line. Because Satoshi's original vision was a peer-to-peer network and cutting out the big money banking system, XRP is thumbing their nose at the pure philosophy of crypto by working with the banks. (In their viewpoint) XRP isn't "decentralized" because it's being controlled by one company. Of course they won't talk about how their beloved BTC isn't truly decentralized either. When you have a small handful of Chinese operations mining the majority of the BTC, I don't think you can really call yourself "decentralized". But because Ripple chooses to work with the banks, they see us as shitting on their purist philosophy. Don't worry about it. As they say, "Haters gonna hate."

Comment 2018-07-17 00:57:09 @kingscrown   i got legend today :) i tried maly druid, big druid, taunt druid, recruit warr, taunt warr etc but none were really working for me and i was stuck at rank 5-4, but i switched to midrange hunter (no eggs, no secrets -- same list as Bazz 0's hunter deck on hearthstonetopdecks) and got to legend with around 70% wr. i was stuck around rank 3 with it for a little while because i don't really play aggressive decks or hunter decks so i made (and am still making) a lot of mistakes but the deck is straightforward & strong. things like a 3 drop into houndmaster beats even lock with a mountain giant on 3 etc. i practiced by playing ranked with a friend watching and discussing each turn, and it changed how i look at a lot of matchups. i'm still bad at the deck but im happy to answer any specific questions about it or matchups etc, also happy to add new friends edit: i don't think this deck actually has any bad matchups. i lost against rogue a lot at first but after some experience i was winning against rogues a lot more (esp miracle ofc)

Comment 2018-07-17 00:56:15 @cgbartow   Great post. I'm still pretty new to poetry, but from what I've read of your poet suggestions, it seems very good. I might suggest Bukowski to someone just getting into poetry. It seems like he's a bit of a love-hate from what I've gathered, but he's pretty accessible and touches on some darker, personal themes. In regards to your conclusion, I think that a big question (one that I still have trouble with) has to do with determining what makes "good" poetry good? How do I know that what I'm reading is good poetry, especially in free verse? How do I know that it even is poetry? How do I know that the free verse I write (or any form of poetry for that matter), would be considered good by others? What makes a "classic" poem classic? Oh, and it'd be fantastic if you were into making those other posts on reading and writing poetry. This one was really helpful and welcoming, I'd love to see what you have to say on other topics. Anyway, thanks for the post!

Comment 2018-07-17 00:39:48 @scaredycatguide   First step: Sit down for ten minutes without doing anything. Relax, take a deep breath, then think about what you admire in others, what you with you were but aren't, what you'd like to truthfully describe yourself as to a new person. Then: Before you go to sleep think about what you want out of tomorrow. You can write it down, you can just briefly consider it, whatever. Do tomorrow's goals relate to your future vision of yourself, if even a tiny bit? Upon awakening: BEFORE you look at your phone, before you get up and start scrolling, think about what you're going to do today. Is it one task? Is it eating a healthy meal? Is it reading a little bit from a book you love or a subject you know nothing about (yet)? Is it taking an online course? Is it subscribing to a couple of YouTube channels that teach the things you'd like to know? Spend some time before you kick the day off thinking about who you'd like to see yourself becoming, then do at the very minimum ONE thing to go in that direction. When you do, reward yourself with positive thoughtful reenforcement. You did it! You invested in yourself! If you do it consistently, you'll find that you enjoy it. You'll become more important, future you will become more realistic, and you'll become yourself. You're worth it! EDIT: Wowza, Reddit Gold! Thank you all so much! Honestly though, I'm just happy that some of you are motivated by this to become the people you'd like to become. Stay posi!
Comment 2018-07-17 00:39:24 @louisthomas   No one will guarantee Bitcoin is a good idea however if you look at moving averages, it may give you some good feeling about it, eg. Generally it is a super volatile market that I would recommend only for keeping spare money. If I lose some of it (or most) I'll be okay but I'm enjoying a chance to gain. (or maybe gain a lot?) Yes British Pound is not the best "coin" due to the Brexit vote and my guess is it will keep on losing value (and so does London housing market) As my friend said; Brexit had quite a lot of consequences for something that has not happened. I would probably diversify savings into: Another European currency Some part of it into Bitcoin (depending on your risk tolerance)

I’m in it for the long run and although I read about Vechain every day, I don’t check Blockfolio everyday cause 1 Vechain remains 1 Vechain. Sell if you wanna sell, hold if you wanna hold. But IMO Vechain is one of the few top projects out there in cryptoland and in the long run it will be a Top-5 coin, I think we’ll see that in Q2. We have more partnerships coming, Thor is on it’s way and once the ICO’s take off people will see it’s true value. It’s not about the tech only, it’s about what enterprises and business need and the answer is Vechain.

In A US consumer study done 4 years ago only 9% of consumers chose cash as a preferred payment. This creates a whole new digital eco system where crypto currencies come into play. Something to think about ; The entire global equity markets total to roughly $68.5 trillion. The Crypto market is a global market and it’s total is $568 Billion.... There will be growth. This is only the beginning.

Comment 2018-07-17 00:32:51 @nicholasilechie   Banks will have to adapt to this new landscape or they face being replaced. I see the bank's function as being a trusted and regulated gateway on top of the Tangle. For example, my grandma is never going to download a crypto wallet, but hopefully in the near future her bank will let her take advantage of this new tech. Of course, the option will also exist for all of us to be in control of our money without the banks, the original intent of crypto.
