Comment 2018-09-22 01:58:18 @danielsaori   haha thank you @danielsaori!! Where are you?
Comment 2018-09-22 01:56:09 @simplymike   NOOO i'm not sure about the garlic at all; just messin' with you :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:55:36 @stever82   Thank you so much for the entry @stever82! I'm giving my voting power a break tonight, but will check them both out tomorrow :) I appreciate your continued support of pifc too!
Comment 2018-09-22 01:54:15 @oclinton   Thank you for the entry @oclinton, and no worries about having to change one of your choices ... it happens to the best of us :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:50:48 @xcountytravelers   And so we meet again! The crazy roads led us to Mexico though haha Scott and I tend to see a road that looks really interesting and we will turn down it just to see what is there. We do the exact same thing actually, and loved this part of New Mexico too. Never saw the Wedding Cake Mesa though; so many hidden gems around the country, isn't there?! :) I found your post because @bengy featured you in his Pay it Forward Curation contest entry. As one of the judges, I'd like to invite you to join us some week with an entry of your own :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:42:57 @bengy   Thank you for the entry @bengy; I love both of these selections! I've alread traveled to Switzerland with mattifer, but need to check out the latest from xcountrytravelers ... love them! Nice job buddy :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:33:57 @bashadow   I'm with @headchange here @bashadow! More dang questions you've left us with! Very clever indeed :) I know I can't submit this to curie again so soon, but I can send it off to c-squared instead :) Nice work.
Comment 2018-09-22 01:30:15 @jumisharma   What a wonderful story of new-found pride for one's country! I especially loved your last paragraph :) I found your post because @mmunited featured you in his Pay it Forward Curation Contest. As one of the judges, I'd like to invite you to participate next week with an entry of your own :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:27:36 @monchhichi23   What a wonderful cautionary tale of greed and "stupidity, not bravery"!!! I feel sorry for what happened to Alphie, but I guess he should have heeded his friend's advice! I was going to submit this to c-squared, but I see it's thankfully, already been done! I found your post because @mmunited featured you in his Pay it Forward Curation Contest. As one of the judges, I'd like to invite you to participate next week with an entry of your own :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:21:57 @mmunited   Thank you for the entry @mmunited! These both look wonderful and I'm off to show them each a little commenting and upvoting love :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:20:39 @viking-ventures   Another great entry @viking-ventures! I've noticed here that guys who have carts of plants that they are selling, also have coconuts that have begun to grow, with foot long green shoots sprouting up. So cool! I had no idea!
Comment 2018-09-22 01:18:39 @armandosodano   Simply stunning @armandosodano, but kind of ominous as well. If it weren't for the stormy seas and blustery winds, I could feel optimistic about their destinations, but the way the dock ends abruptly, combined with "work" attire, makes me think they are continuously on the move, going nowhere! I found your post because @trincowski featured you in his Pay it Forward Curation Contest. As one of the judges, I'd like to invite you to participate next week with an entry of your own :)
Comment 2018-09-22 01:13:33 @jeremyrfk   This is really beautiful @jeremyrfk!! I found your post because @trincowski featured you in his Pay it Forward Curation Contest. As one of the judges, I'd like to invite you to participate next week with an entry of your own :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:51:27 @roleerob   Thank you for a great entry @roleerob :) I'm so glad to see that you have become a "regular" with us :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:47:06 @asapers   Congratulations everyone! Nice job @asapers :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:46:30 @shaheerbari   Geez, if these stats and photos don't show "corruption", not much will!! I'm hoping that the new government continues to be transparent and use tax money wisely. Such a shame how much this happens around the world, isn't it?!
Comment 2018-09-22 00:44:06 @deltasteem   Wow these are really stunning! I love the use of light too. The photos came out so clear! and all with your smartphone?!
Comment 2018-09-22 00:42:42 @byn   awww @byn, that's awesome! Hooray to supportive husbands :) I love the look of your space too; doesn't just make you want to go in their and say ahhhhh!
Comment 2018-09-22 00:40:48 @mango-juice   You and your gang are awesome @mango-juice! I love to see long time friends hanging out like this and doing something together that they love! The photos made me smile too :) Nice one :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:37:42 @steemitbloggers   Hooray @byn :) Nice pic @steemitbloggers!
Comment 2018-09-22 00:37:00 @fionasfavourites   Again, something new I learned from your post @fionasfavourites! what a fine host you make too ;) Aren't expectations just a killer?! :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:24:36 @willymac   That's the best definition I've ever heard; a bit like a rock polisher of memories :) Peace to you as well.
Comment 2018-09-22 00:23:45 @roleerob   I'm glad to hear that your family member is well @roleerob! I was contemplating some of the same things here in Mexico; we've been having a few stormy days and are at the beginning of "hurricane season" here as well; that feeling of "waiting" is something I'm familiar with and it's a very odd feeling indeed. Florence has sure left a mess of heartache in her wake, hasn't she?! :(
Comment 2018-09-22 00:20:30 @cutie-pie   This is so cute! No wonder you picked @cutie-pie for a name :) Seriously, I wish I'd had this opportunity at my fingertips when my kids were little!! On a totally random note, would you mind showing me a photo of the watercolour pencil? I'm from Canada, in Mexico and want to show it around to see if I can get it brought in here. Thanks!
Comment 2018-09-22 00:18:06 @eye4art   Thank you @eye4art :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:17:42 @particleman   Thank you once again for all of your support @particleman :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:15:15 @dandays   I guess the Dairy Board's Marketing has convinced just about everyone that kids and adults alike need cow's milk to survive. Hey, it's on that food pyramid thingy, so it's gotta be true :)
Comment 2018-09-22 00:11:00 @see-it-feel-it   That's so interesting! This concept makes life seem just magical!! The book I read is fiction, called Infinite Sacrifice by L.E. Waters; it's about a woman, Maya, who dies, but when she gets to heaven, she has to "re-live" who she was in all of her past lives, and in each of those lives, is someone she knows from another life (as a different person). It was this book that solidified how I thought about our past, present and future selves. Let me know what you think about it if you do read it :) And regarding the "angels" here, all I can say is, "you sure have your work cut out for you, trying to make a choice between so many nominations"!! :) Regardless of those chosen, it's great to see so many on your post; this really is a great community!
Comment 2018-09-21 23:39:21 @beeyou   Hey that's awesome @beeyou! Thank you :) It's all new to me, so how do I get this? I'm one of the few who hasn't jumped onboard yet :)
Comment 2018-09-21 23:37:09 @headchange   Very clever @headchange! Damn that Bengy; always messin' around :) Wonder what will happen next? :)
Comment 2018-09-21 23:34:36 @danielsaori   Always a pleasure interacting on this contest Daniel! Congratulations @headchange and @@minismallholding :)
Comment 2018-09-21 23:33:39 @headchange   Congratulations @headchange :)
Comment 2018-09-21 18:38:15 @roleerob   Aren't they wonderful @roleerob?! So glad they are still honoring you with their presence :) You certainly deserve it :)
Comment 2018-09-21 18:37:00 @gillianpearce   I can't offer you much advice @gillianpearce, because I tend to do the same thing. If you book it, you may spend countless hours berating yourself about the cost and what you could have otherwise spent that money on, and if you don't book it, you'll spend the same countless hours imaging the spectacular time everyone's going to have there!
Comment 2018-09-21 18:34:15 @tattoodjay   I love an outdoor market, even if I'm not in the market for any of it (did you see what I did there haha), it's always so nice to just wander around and see what people have to offer. I do like the idea of the scented teddy bears though; that's pretty clever!
Comment 2018-09-21 17:39:48 @trincowski   Thank you once again for a fine entry @trincowski; these both look awesome and I'll be taking a look later this evening to them. I love your final thoughts too by the way! The people not showing up here just don't have the foresight to see that this is and will be something big ... it's already something special if you ask me :)
Comment 2018-09-21 04:51:30 @appreciator   Great choices @appreciator! Thank you and congratulations to those chosen :)
Comment 2018-09-21 04:46:27 @ambiguity   I totally would have pooped my pants! No shit haha Seriously, I'm terrified of spiders and could barely look at it on your post let alone in real life!!!
Comment 2018-09-21 04:43:15 @particleman   Good going everyone!! And thank you @particleman for the continued support :)

Comment 2018-09-21 04:13:30 @youhavewings   awww thank you so much @youhavewings! I'm truly honored :)
Comment 2018-09-21 04:11:15 @janton    But once you get used to lounging...don't know if there's any coming back! Oh my gosh, that's it!!! It's just so hard to focus on it all when I don't really have to :)
Comment 2018-09-21 04:10:27 @simplymike   The climate in Belgium is a lot like Vancouver, so I totally get what you're saying! haha rest up for phase two now :) It's garlic that they go to right? I remember getting spider mites in our greenhouses growing up, and they sure spread fast when given the opportunity! Good luck, stay strong :)
Comment 2018-09-21 04:01:42 @friendsofgondor   Always my pleasure Dave! I hope you're doing well; I miss blah blah-ing with you :) For real :)
Comment 2018-09-21 03:58:36 @themanwithnoname   If and when I sign up, you'll be my one and only referral link. That's what good friends are for. Besides, you've obviously have a huge handle on the whole thing :) but I got the starter, so that's... you know, a start.
Comment 2018-09-21 03:56:39 @puravidaville   It is incredible! And I just re-read what I wrote to you and it's John's (our neighbor) parents and Brian's parents knew each other. John really believes that the two moms orchestrated the whole thing :) It's sooo beautiful when you think about it! You're welcome! I love sharing with someone who obviously gets it :)
Comment 2018-09-21 03:48:03 @quillfire    Ah, there you are. I was preparing to leave a snide remark on one of your posts. Like Billy would say, take the phone off the hook and disappear for awhile I've been living outside and even dragged my desk and laptop out on the patio, thinking then I would want to open my computer, but alas, the pool, a patio chair and a cold drink continually call my name :) Marg, @girlbeforemirror, a fire in a bottle with soul, tonight, you get an "open tab" and a promise that "our time" is coming very soon ;) Great lyrics ... are great poetry You said it! R.E.M. Everybody Hurts ; a wee piece of it: Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten. Talk soon, Lynn
Comment 2018-09-21 03:13:39 @libaws   haha good one!!
Comment 2018-09-21 03:12:09 @headchange   hahaha I love that you're stringing janton along :) He is easy and fun to tease, I will say that!!
Comment 2018-09-21 03:10:51 @sumatranate    Are there any particular news sources that you rely on these days? I was going to the BBC, but even that now isn't sitting right with me. Truthfully, I've been burying my head in the sand a bit when it comes to news in general :) Not the best idea, but sometimes it's my coping mechanism I guess.
Comment 2018-09-21 03:09:30 @starjewel   awww thank you @starjewel! That's so sweet of you to say :)
Comment 2018-09-21 03:08:33 @tryskele   hahaha I'm as demented then. My friend sent me a meme with Florence Henderson's head moving across the ocean to the coastline hahaha it's been in my mind ever since It's horrible, the aftermath I mean. But like most things horrible in my life, if I don't laugh to somehow cope, I'll go stark raving mad!
Comment 2018-09-21 03:06:00 @tryskele   He does have a good therapist and now goes when he feels the need; which is a good thing. He's sure gone through a lot to get to this point though ... and during his darkest of times, I too heard, "he's just doing it for attention". Yeah. That's what it is. My favorite is "Can't you just get over it?" LOL 'Don't you think I would if I could?' No kidding. It's a bit like the whole argument, 'he's just choosing to be gay'.
Comment 2018-09-21 03:03:30 @cicisaja   FIL of course! You crazy kids and your short forms haha I'll look forward to your posts then too ... so very interesting to me. Yes, the pool, Brian, the patio and yes Buddy ... all of it has kept me away from steemit, but I don't feel too badly about it all. It's all about balance I guess!
Comment 2018-09-21 03:01:48 @willymac   Sorry @willymac, but I missed this comment of yours! It's not silly at all, and I love that analogy! "memory gems" ... that's awesome. Life is full of them if you live with your eyes wide open :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:53:18 @hitmeasap   Hey @hitmeasap :) I did the same thing, and I'm assuming there will be a lot of "tweaking" in the days and weeks to come! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:52:36 @profanereviews    The weird apartment made me think Jughead was sitting in front of you. hahaha now that's all I think about when I look out the window to see that thing ... Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead ... the whole gang lol
Comment 2018-09-21 02:51:33 @janton   Thank you so much @janton! I know I replied to this using Fast Reply; you're the second one here that didn't get my response. Have you ever had that happen? This place really is amazing; every day I count my blessings for all of it ... including crazy Buddy :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:50:21 @cecicastor   Hey sorry @cecicastor! I replyed to this on "Fast Reply", but apparently it's not too fast at all LOL Those ships are massive; I've seen more and more of them and have to wonder how 'good' they are for the environment etc. Plus, I've seen the entry ports here and they're tourist traps; nothing authentic whatsoever. You're right ... the future will come regardless of what I do, so enjoy each day is all I can do. Thank you and sorry again for the delayed response :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:22:06 @arthurgain   You're welcome! And you're absolutely correct! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:21:30 @tcpolymath   Fair enough, but hopefully, the market will eventually pick up and it'll all be figured out ... by someone :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:20:36 @guchtere   Good for you @guchtere! and that guy who threw the gel package sounds like an ass! Imagine what this world would look like if everyone picked up one thing every day?! As beautiful as it is here in Mexico, littering is a real problem so whenever I'm at the beach especially, I'm always picking up bits and pieces of junk, especially plastic. I don't think the ocean needs any more of that! Congratulations on the 1000th post too! That's awesome:)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:16:42 @buckaroo   I sure hope the rains continue so that you can keep the girls ... and for the obvious reason that you desperately need the rain! How long has the drought been going on? And I hear you about the boys too. There's only so much you can do, but truthfully, I'm a meat eater and feel better about it all when I know that the cows, pigs etc have been raised humanely and with love.
Comment 2018-09-21 02:14:57 @joyrobinson   oh you're so welcome @joyrobinson! It was my pleasure :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:14:18 @glenalbrethsen   hahaha I've got a vision going on that's hilarious!!!
Comment 2018-09-21 02:13:51 @brittandjosie   You're most welcome about c-squared :) It is more feminine that way too ... you're so right! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:12:39 @simplymike   hahaha they don't look very clever, do they? It must have been difficult not being able to do much all summer, seeing as you love it so much. And if I remember correctly, your girlfriend's not a huge fan of the whole thing? Good idea with the bot thing. I'm currently at 59.53, but am not panicking yet ... it'll happen when it happens I guess :) You're welcome re: c-squared too. Your garden journal posts are really beautiful!
Comment 2018-09-21 02:05:12 @janton   All along the Caribbean is beautiful! You really should check it out! You know something? There really is more to this world than Texas haha
Comment 2018-09-21 02:04:06 @joelai   Hibiscus! I have that and yes, they make a drink from it here ! But I've never seen that beautiful color like you have :) Nature is very kind! you are my angel! awww takes one to know one :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:02:12 @puravidaville   You're near fluent! Now you guys have to come here :)
Comment 2018-09-21 02:01:03 @headchange   smartass I like you! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:47:03 @paulag   That's what I'm looking forward to!!!
Comment 2018-09-21 01:45:45 @janton   Well buddy, I've decided that I'll do what I want, whenever I feel like it :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:45:03 @fruityexplorer   haha well, that's a start!
Comment 2018-09-21 01:44:30 @abh12345   I hope so! When do you expect to hear? Or have you?
Comment 2018-09-21 01:42:54 @wolfhart   You can only do your best @wolfhart! No worries; I'll pick up your slack any day if you need me too :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:42:24 @bengy   hahaha thanks for the welcome @bengy :) Hey! wanna be a guest judge some week? :) we call that half-kidding in my house
Comment 2018-09-21 01:41:24 @glenalbrethsen   hahaha bingo :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:41:03 @mattifer   You are most welcome @mattifer :) It's always my pleasure!
Comment 2018-09-21 01:39:36 @niallon11   That's totally what we say all of the time!!! Some of my very best memories out are the ones that weren't planned at all, but just 'kinda happened'!!
Comment 2018-09-21 01:38:18 @wolfhart   Again, your wife is a smart woman. Rage does nothing but wear us out ... drain whatever energy is still there! LOL "free the nipple movement". And Brian was pouting like a 12 year old girl with the "training" comment LOL
Comment 2018-09-21 01:35:39 @dandays   awww thank you @dandays; you're pretty awesome yourself! Truthfully, I had a facebook account but never posted anything; I just used it to stay in touch with friends/family around the world. This is the first time I've blogged (still feels weird to type that), shared myself publicly, photos etc. I've never felt comfortable doing that, but this all seems very 'safe' and most, like yourself, are very encouraging as well :) So I totally get where you're coming from! Continue to actively talk about it :) Brian broke the top of his foot/by the big toe and has been feeling generally "hitty" with an "s" (takin' a page from your book buddy!), so he's taking a bit of a steemit break :) Sofa king awesome that I can use that too! You rock @dandays :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:30:21 @headchange   Thank you and apparently, I'm behind too. Eventually we'll catch up ... or not :) I could just live on that patio and be content. There and the pool. Besides Brian's health, I cannot wish for a damn thing ;)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:27:12 @stever82   Oh good. It's a non-literary fix of sorts, but I think it would help clarify it for some when they're reading :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:26:24 @zorank   Thank you so much for the entry @zorank ... again! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:25:24 @brittandjosie   You're always polite! And I totally get it :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:24:57 @mmunited   You are so welcome! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:24:30 @stever82   Thank you! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:21:30 @anutu   hahaha you're still trying I see :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:18:57 @quillfire    "Vienna" is also Billy Joel's favorite Billy Joel song. I did not know that! Sauerkraut. I can get a machete easy here. FYI. Done :)
Comment 2018-09-21 01:17:33 @gillianpearce   I keep trying although it appears as though I was feeling a little sarcastic this time haha
Comment 2018-09-21 01:14:51 @quillfire   Well Grasshopper, perhaps the student has surpassed the teacher :) kidding, but geez, she's pretty amazing in spite of or despite her illness. Funny how you don't need to know the definition of alliteration to be able to use it so well :) It's great of you, verbose as you are haha, to recognize and encourage talent like that; you're both fortunate to have found each other here in this of all places (pretty great really). Nice work @girlbeforemirror ... you too Mr. Editor ;)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:26:33 @eye4art   It's my pleasure @eye4art :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:26:06 @paulag   YOu are most welcome @paulag!
Comment 2018-09-21 00:25:33 @quillfire   hahaha yes Quill, loookit me go :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:24:18 @robertandrew   That's one of the things I LOVE about it too! We can write about whatever we want and aren't cornered into anything specific. It's sooo awesome really; and the money bit is icing on the cake :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:23:06 @simplymike   hahaha join in on the fun! sure! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:22:42 @tryskele   Your response here is the reason I'm asking you to have a look at my friend's post. You've walked in semi-similar shoes I think.
Comment 2018-09-21 00:20:51 @bengy   and I'd say Toronto is one of the least friendliest cities in the whole country, if you can believe it! Man, you sure get a lot of comments on these posts!! Just saying! :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:19:33 @maverickinvictus   God Mave, that's awful! I'm so terribly sorry that your childhood looked like that! I notice you don't call her mom or mother, for obvious reasons too. No child should ever have to go through that ... now you're making me cry ...for that little eight year old boy that deserved so much more than he ever received in life. Do you think a lot of people with depression etc has had some kind of traumatic experience when they were younger? Just curious. And never feel badly for expressing yourself here either. If it's therapeutic, then do it. Please. I'll always be here to listen :) <3<3
Comment 2018-09-21 00:12:27 @puravidaville   That's amazing @puravidaville!! I believe that kind of connection too; your dad certainly "pushed" @dandays in the right direction! Here's one for you: We met a man here in Mexico, a Canadian, who was terribly unhappy with his living situation here (why is not important), but we spoke to our landlord and got him a suite in our place. The other day, we were all talking in the pool, and it turns out he knew Brian's parents and we all believe that "they" pushed us together here to help him! Small world in the end :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:09:27 @wolfhart   I never will!! It happened once before with my grandfather visiting me in a dream too; it felt as though we'd had this really great visit. It had been a long time after he died, so I wasn't sad when I woke up, just felt really lucky ... and good.
Comment 2018-09-21 00:07:15 @janton   I know right??!! I knew it was special with my grandfather, and now Silvia, but I just assumed it happened to more people :) We've had bad storms this week and our power has been on and off for a couple days, plus, when the sun has come out, I need to get out of the apartment :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:05:27 @quillfire   haha I've always been philosophical and a bit of a closet poet :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:04:24 @joelai   Thank you!! Me too :)
Comment 2018-09-21 00:03:57 @c-cubed   This is great news; I'm on the curation trail now too :) Thank you for doing this c-squared!
Comment 2018-09-20 22:43:21 @minismallholding   haha you're awesome :)
Comment 2018-09-20 22:42:42 @fulltimegeek   YES!! So glad to hear it. And I have absolutely no doubt, that you will take this job "quite seriously"! Thank you :)
Comment 2018-09-20 22:40:18 @simplymike    I'll show those spider mites they chose the wrong person to pick a fight with. hahaha that's the spirit girl!!! There is something sad about pouring your heart into something, only for it to give you love back and then die off as quickly. I think that's why I ended up planting perennials and less veggies :) It's the normal cycle I guess, and knowing you, you'll spend the winter finding all kinds of cool things to experiment with next year!
Comment 2018-09-20 22:32:42 @oclinton   Thank you so much @oclinton :)
Comment 2018-09-20 22:32:12 @thekittygirl   Thank you so much @thekittygirl :)
Comment 2018-09-20 16:58:24 @ecoinstant   awwww that's IT !!! :)
Comment 2018-09-20 16:58:00 @see-it-feel-it   Hey @see-it-feel-it, nice to see you here :) Silvia had a wicked dark sense of humor (like me :), so her comment to me is just sooooo the Sil I knew and loved :) I have heard of that (just read a book about it actually) and I LOVE that whole concept. What a cool idea to think that we have those past and future souls, floating around us simultaneously! I simply cannot believe that what we see is what we get! :) Thanks again for stopping by! I've been trying to open your "Angel" post but we've had wicked storms yesterday and our power kept popping on and off; I finally gave up and read an actual book. haha imagine!! It's sunny now, so I'm going to have a look at it all; the support I've seen for myself and everyone nominated is simply beautiful. Thank you for coming up with such an awesome idea :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:52:06 @bashadow   You're welcome! And yes, you just have to wait for the rest of the story to come to you ... it's in there all right, but it's just stewing, simmering and when it's ready to come out, you'll know it!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:50:51 @joyrobinson   awww thank you @joyrobinson! and happy birthday (early) grandma!! :) I'm so glad that she visited you; it's such an amazing and blessed thing to happen, isn't it?! :) Thank you for stopping by :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:37:54 @robertandrew   Thank you @robertandrew! It was "beautiful and amazing"!! and I feel so fortunate and blessed that she chose to do that for me :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:36:57 @joelai   Thank you @joelai! It was so beautiful, and I'm glad that you believe in it too :) It happened once before to me ... my grandfather visited me in a dream; I feel so blessed and fortunate for both "visits"!!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:35:57 @theluvbug   awww thank you so much @theluvbug!! Gosh, such a cute lil' thing you are! :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:35:12 @ykdesign   Thank you so much @ykdesign! i appreciate that very much :) Did I see that you are a fellow steemitblogger too?
Comment 2018-09-20 01:34:30 @glenalbrethsen   There aren't really words that can express this whole experience, but I guess that's what faith of any kind is really about. I just accept what happened as beautiful and feel very blessed and fortunate that it happened to me! I would hope she would be able to take care now more than ever That's what I first thought too Glen, but like you, I'm thinking she's got the answer she needed. Thank you!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:32:36 @gillianpearce   Cathartic. That's the perfect word for it @gillianpearce. It was such a healing experience, and I'm not nearly as sad about it all. Don't get me wrong, she was way too young and way to useful to this world, but that visit from her helped me for sure!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:31:27 @delishtreats   I guess so, right?! I didn't know that I needed that to be truthful; I thought I'd processed the fact that I couldn't say bye to her in person, but I guess she just knew better. She'd love that too ... she always like to be right haha
Comment 2018-09-20 01:30:33 @steven-patrick   awww thank you @steven-patrick! I'm so glad she did too!! :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:30:09 @tryskele   It's so interesting because I didn't even know that I needed it until I woke up and realized what had happened. So unbelievably amazing the whole experience!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:29:27 @livinguktaiwan   That's a perfect way to describe it @livinguktaiwan! Thank you :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:29:03 @themanwithnoname   I didn't even realize how much I needed that until it happened! haha you're right! I could have easily gotten up instead :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:28:24 @profanereviews   Oh, she would have loved you. Thank you :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:26:48 @janton    best not to question but accept and be thankful That's exactly what I did! It happened to me one time before with my grandfather, and like this time with Silvia, I felt so so blessed because of it!! :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:25:48 @wolfhart   It really was a beautiful gift that she gave me!! I'm still in awe when I think about it :) Thank you for recognizing how amazing it was!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:25:00 @quillfire   Thank you Quill! It was so surreal and so beautiful, and you're right, it doesn't matter about the cause etc. What matters is how it made me feel, which was incredibly blessed and fortunate. Yep, there's been plenty of illness over the last little bit, but do you know what? There's been so much good during that time too; illness really has a way of either dragging you down, or making you realize what's important in life. I've made a conscious decision to go with door number two on that one :) Thanks for stopping by Quill.
Comment 2018-09-20 01:16:42 @puravidaville   awww I'm so happy that you had a moment with your Dad too then! It was an incredibly emotional thing, especially when I first woke up. The "feeling" passed throughout the day, so I'm so glad that I wrote this as soon as I composed myself soon after waking. Thank you @puravidaville :)
Comment 2018-09-20 01:15:15 @hezziebees   I totally agree! Somethings just are; I'm so glad that you've experienced the same @hezziebees :) It really is an amazing feeling, isn't it?!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:12:30 @gillianpearce   So beautiful! I love ruins of any kind, but these that are so well cared for are even better!
Comment 2018-09-20 01:11:33 @quillfire   haha ok, I see you can do better than "that"! If it turns out to be an anemone ... I'm never playing this game again. Let me add: "or a pinecone"!!! Here's another clue: @insideoutlet said this in her comment above: If i ate this thing raw it wpuldnt be as tasty So it's a food that needs to be cooked to be edible. hmmmm, my answer is still, "I don't know!"
Comment 2018-09-20 01:08:06 @quillfire   I never say OMG, but OMG I had that exact album growing up and was in love with "Vienna", the most under-rated song on the entire album. And pasta?? Come on, you can do better than that. My guess this week was, "I don't know" haha
Comment 2018-09-20 01:06:06 @stever82   Hey no problem; I just meant that when you switch perspectives (from one person to the next) and the story is coming from "there perspective", it might be useful to insert something like this to show that it's a break of sorts: https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVixHXZbe4oD8hH5MDXeNKfRTH4HE5kTgAaCE6Y4YjRnY/Untitled-TrueColor-15.jpg Does that make sense?
Comment 2018-09-20 01:02:33 @wolfhart   As you know, Brian has had the same issues with the loss of muscle mass, so I picked up a couple of mansiers ... two for one deal; I'm happy to send you one of them. He says they're awfully comfortable :) You know I'll be here whenever you get back. Hoping for a good outcome/find here my friend! I'm fighting getting angry about it all, but we both know that does nothing. <3
Comment 2018-09-20 00:50:54 @themanwithnoname   I see you've caught the steemmonsters bug too :) I haven't...yet. Never say never though; I just haven't found the time or honestly, the inclination yet! :) Good luck out there on the battlefield. Be safe!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:49:24 @thedarkhorse   Congratulations @viking-ventures, @tryskele, and @headchange!! And great job @thedarkhorse; very nice gesture indeed, and I agree, they totally deserve it!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:48:33 @bashadow   Woo hooooo on the curie vote @bashadow!!! I wasn't on steemit at all yesterday, then just read your story and thought, wow, this is really good; I'm going to submit it to curie haha Then I of course saw the first comment here!! That's awesome; you totally deserved it for this fine piece of writing :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:46:45 @trincowski   Congratulations @trincowski!! So cool :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:45:51 @glenalbrethsen   Ok. We need to talk :) When I was speaking to you on Discord, and said since steemit was down I was going to close my laptop and do something else, this is what I did: -went swimming -went for a walk -had a friend stop by for a beer -ended up making the best fish tacos ever and invited him to stay - then he and Brian and I went out (he's here on holidays) for a walk in town and "people-watched" for a few hours - thought about steemit a couple of times and thought, "ah, I'll check in tomorrow" Need I continue? :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:42:30 @eye4art   Thank you @eye4art! Another great choice :) Check out this post/artist; not sure if it's someone you know, but it's amazing!!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:41:03 @danielsaori   Right?! It was just such a color!!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:38:54 @dandays   Happy birthday @dandays!! I'm gonna admit right off the bat, that your title caught me hook, line, and sinker! :) No swear words in a year! Sofa king cool :) (May I borrow that one from time to time?) Love the lesson of the wooden Australian Shepherd and the whole common courtesy thing here too; it's all rather simple, isn't it. Just be good, and kind, and considerate, and thoughtful. There's some Wisteem for ya right there! :) This one's got c-squared written all over it too. Nice work!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:32:42 @dandays   Some things are totally worth waiting for buddy! No worries :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:32:03 @beeyou   Thank you @beeyou, and no worries ... I find it impossible anymore to connect with everyone all of the time :) It is comforting to have a goodbye, even if in the dream (spiritual?) realm. It definitely was!
Comment 2018-09-20 00:30:18 @niallon11   hahaha I was never blessed with "that" voice that says, "this is a bad idea" haha Mine instead says, "go on, what's the worse that can happen?" :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:28:54 @abh12345   You're most welcome Asher! You're pretty easy to support :) if i'm too scared to Li-lo up to randoms in the sea That I would pay to see :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:15:00 @insideoutlet   ok then! I'm going to look again with fresh eyes :)
Comment 2018-09-20 00:14:39 @simplymike   That's closer than me!! My guesses are always way off, and they're the stuff others make fun of haha
Comment 2018-09-20 00:11:57 @paulag   Like Asher's League, I love seeing the engagement that goes on here @paulag :) Nice one!!

Comment 2018-09-19 23:47:39 @happycrazycon   I loved this @happycrazycon! And so clever of you to connect all of your freewrites ... a huge undertaking though right?! :)
Comment 2018-09-19 23:39:06 @pifc   Thank you so much for this @pifc, and congratulations for the nomination as well ... you too @viking-ventures :) Thank you to all of those who are supporting us "over there" too!
Comment 2018-09-19 23:37:09 @brittandjosie   hahaha thank you @brittandjosie! Love "sorry not sorry" :)
Comment 2018-09-19 23:35:57 @mattifer   Thank you for sharing Switzerland with us! I'm looking forward to seeing through "your" road-less-traveled eyes :) Submitting this to c-squared as well. Thanks for always posting quality @mattifer :)

Comment 2018-09-19 23:30:42 @steemitbloggers   Congratulations @mattifer! and Thank you @steemitbloggers :)
Comment 2018-09-19 23:28:18 @tryskele   I too welcome the day when we can talk about mental illness with the same empathy and support the way we talk about someone with cancer for example. The shame that's attached to it is just that ... shameful! Thank you @tryskele for your honesty and awareness <3
Comment 2018-09-18 08:36:33 @abh12345   Congratulations Asher!!! That's awesome news :) You deserve it; I'm glad that so many came out to support you! I like how you're going with the intent to socialize and whatever comes from it, comes from it :) Love this photo of you by the way! Very cool :)
Comment 2018-09-18 08:25:42 @buckaroo   awwww they're soooo cute!!! And stinky boys and their testosterone haha Do you keep all the goats? You must totally be loving this!!
Comment 2018-09-18 08:18:45 @simplymike   The Rolling Stones said it best, "you can't always get what you want, but you get what you need." So glad you had fun; I loved the look of all the camper vans too! How do you manage to do the gardening at home with your back? Submitting this to c-squared too :)
Comment 2018-09-18 08:14:18 @buckaroo   You're so welcome @buckaroo; it was my pleasure! Your posts are always such great quality :) You reminded me with the whole Belgium chocolate thing, which sounds delicious by the way ... but my grandparents went for a visit to Belgium and brought back boxes of chocolates. They opened all of the boxes up and set them on the table and we all sat around the table, for the entire evening, tasting different chocolates. But it was more like taking a small bite of one, then saying, "you've gotta taste this!!" and passing bits around to everyone :) It was awesome!! I'm with you on the cheese too :)
Comment 2018-09-18 08:07:33 @frejafri   You are so welcome @frejafri! I totally understand ... our (everyone's) posts seem so perfect, but I just know that life isn't, even in a beautiful place like this :)
Comment 2018-09-18 08:04:03 @themanwithnoname   Oh my gosh I somehow missed responding to you! Geez ... my bad buddy :) Our landlord took us; it was a place that Brian and I would never have found on our own. He (landlord) swears it's the best fish in town :) Buddy's in heaven here too I think :) And food makes him happy, so I say "eat up". Too many cats go without :P
Comment 2018-09-18 08:02:09 @gillianpearce   no need to dredge it up @gillianpearce! Some people have already spent thousands of dollars on cards and the game hasn't even started yet. I know! I just can't seem to get into the whole thing, but I hear you in terms of it appearing "out of control". We shall see indeed :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:58:33 @roleerob   haha the old timeshare hook :) I don't think it matters what the fish is actually ... when it's so fresh, it all tastes good! That's a great story though! Love when you find or are shown (in your case) a hidden gem like that :) Thanks for popping by @roleerob!
Comment 2018-09-18 07:55:48 @willise   Thank you :)

Comment 2018-09-18 07:43:15 @dandays   I do too! Karma can be a beatch if you're bad, but man, she's pretty sweet when you are too ;)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:42:24 @profanereviews   Seriously. Way better than back home. Brian does look good there, doesn't he?! Thank you @profanereviews, it is pretty amazing here. We'd be happy to be the tour guide for you guys is you ever find yourself here :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:41:00 @guchtere   There must be plenty of those fish, because apparently, it's easy for the fishermen to catch them, although it's something they've been doing for years, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be so easy for you or I ;) My weekend was very good! Thanks! Hope you had a good one too?
Comment 2018-09-18 07:39:18 @guchtere   Scotland! I wouldn't have guessed that, but it is very beautiful. And yes, you'd love Canada, especially the West Coast :) And of course, the Netherlands are flat :) Duh!
Comment 2018-09-18 07:37:48 @tcpolymath    I should make a post about that specifically. Yes please :) I've been reading different opinions about it all and I'd like to see what you have to say about it all, especially because I trust your opinion :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:34:57 @pifc   Glad to be back this week @pifc :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:33:27 @domiwla   awww I'm sorry that happened to you, but it's the sign of a very good person who feels badly to hurt any living being :) I'm not sure if you're on Discord yet, but I'd like to invite you to @asapers and an invite. Both are very supportive and helpful, and they will help you build your community here as well :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:29:42 @asapers   Nice choices @asapers ... as usual :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:12:39 @abh12345   I hope you receive this support Asher! @curie and @randomwanderings, I've been a part of this initiative since it's inception and have watched it grow tremendously. Asher's Leagues encourage engagement, community support, and a healthy dose of competition! Your support has been appreciated by me and many others and I think it's something worth continuing :)
Comment 2018-09-18 07:07:45 @brittandjosie   Such a clever idea @brittandjosie!! I love the big cuffs and "cuff-links" especially :) I'm submitting this to c-squared; I'm sure they'll pop by to show their appreciation too!
Comment 2018-09-18 06:56:36 @simplymike   hahaha I have the same guess as you again this week @simplymike :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:54:30 @pifc   Congratulations @headchange and thank you @pifc and @tryskele! It's so nice to still know nothing about her :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:44:48 @steemitbloggers   As always, thank you :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:38:09 @appreciator   As always, nice choices @appreciator :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:36:24 @see-it-feel-it   Thank you so much @see-it-feel-it! This kind of thing just makes my heart smile :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:35:39 @dandays   thank you @dandays! And thanks for coming all the way back to check out this post about Silvia too ... she really was one of the good ones! I've had a couple dreams like this too ... had the best visit with my grandparents once <3
Comment 2018-09-18 06:32:42 @mariannewest   awww thank you so much @mariannewest!! You're awesome :) and I really appreciate your support!!
Comment 2018-09-18 06:31:57 @smithlabs   No kidding, right @smithlabs??!! Sooo lucky!
Comment 2018-09-18 06:31:18 @janton   haha I'm totally getting used to lounging :) And you're right ... it cannot be a coincidence ... there was something else (or someone) playing a part in it all :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:27:15 @joyrobinson   Thank you so much for this post @joyrobinson! I had no idea that this even existed, and the underwater photos especially are stunning! Love your "heart" photo at the end too. I'm submitting this to c-squared; hopefully they'll stop by to show their appreciation as well :)
Comment 2018-09-18 06:25:09 @stever82   I liked your "finish" to this story @stever82! And I read the comments as well ... perhaps to clarify the different points of view, you could just use a text divider?
Comment 2018-09-18 05:58:15 @bengy   I am Canadian and very proud of it! We're happy, friendly, polite (oh, sorry if I offended anyone with this so far haha), love our beer eh, poutine ( a delectable concoction of gravy and cheese curds over french fries ... sounds gross but it's delicious), bacon, maple syrup, outdoorsie and all round great group of peeps. Yes! I totally stereotyped us all :) What I don't like? Like most countries, we've got our icky parts of history (treatment of Indigenous population for starters), politics, taxes ... but hey, we've got universal health care, even is the wait time for medical procedures is brutal :) What I do know is that I can travel anywhere in the world, and announce that I'm Canadian, and people just smile when they hear it! I guess we must be doing something right! :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:52:21 @niallon11   Hey @niallon11, sounds a bit like being Canadian ... like me! We love our beer and probably are just a bit more polite "mad bastards who love the drink" :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:48:15 @agmoore   Wonderful piece of fiction @agmoore!! You captured this woman perfectly ... so full of passion! Loved it :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:45:06 @janton   hahaha my paycheck in beer!! I would be living check to check for sure then :) Thank you @janton! If you're ever here, we'll be your tour guide for sure!!
Comment 2018-09-18 05:44:06 @fruityexplorer   It really is a blessing to be able to eat something so fresh like this fish was!! I hope you're able to eat some soon too :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:43:21 @jbreheny   Thank you so much @jbreheny! I thought he looked great too :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:37:09 @buckaroo   Everyday we wake up and both say how it feels like we are on holidays!! The occasional gutter dipping is just expected then :) Thanks @buckaroo ;) How's the kids doing?
Comment 2018-09-18 05:36:33 @puravidaville    Thank you so much for stopping by @lynncoyle1 it’s good to have you ! Hey there @puravidaville, it's a pleasure to be had :) the only option is to make it work as a bread pudding or something. Haha… I just couldn't toss out the crumbly muffins and KNEW there was something that could be saved from the whole mess :) You're right ... the smell alone makes it impossible to not figure something out!!
Comment 2018-09-18 05:24:27 @paulag   I hope you get this support @paulag! @curie and @randomwanderings, I've witnessed first hand what curie support has done for @abh12345's Engagement and Curation Leagues, and I believe that it would do the same for @paulag's Redfish Power Up League too. That added support, in my oh so humble opinion ;) would not only help @paulag to reward those focused on growing, but also encourage more to join in; encouraging growth and engagement simultaneously.
Comment 2018-09-18 05:08:06 @glenalbrethsen   Nothing screams threat like a 60 year old, 5 foot nothing Mexican grandma :) I too remember and long for the days of accompanying someone almost to the plane !
Comment 2018-09-18 05:06:24 @shibasaki   Again! Simply beautiful! I'm happy to see the human form in watercolor ... so wonderful :)
Comment 2018-09-18 05:04:54 @danielsaori   Hi Daniel :) I loved @joelai's post; nice choice :) Here's my comment to her: Hi @joelai :) I don't know where to begin with this post! I love it, but can't really answer your questions, although I know who probably can! @simplymike is a gardener extraordinaire!! and if anyone can help you out, she can. I was all set to tell you about her Steemit Community Garden Journal, then I saw that you made this post specifically because of that! I've never heard of Roselle before; is it something edible? And the Butterfly Pea water is gorgeous! What a color! Nature really does do it best, doesn't She ? :) Love the succulents too; I've been meaning to get some of those for my patio space. I'm submitting this to c-squared as well; hopefully they'll pop by and show their appreciation for such a lovely post!
Comment 2018-09-18 04:45:27 @tcpolymath   ok, so just so I know I've understood this...I've changed my settings on steemauto to vote at 15 minutes. Correct? Besides that, is there really anything that will affect me personally? I never upvote my own stuff, and now I don't have to wait for 25-30 minutes to upvote a post (if I'm lucky enough to catch it then), but instead, can vote around 15 minutes manually. Am I missing more here? Thank you so much by the way, for simplifying all of this. After the smooth transition today (#sarcasm haha), I'm really not sure what else to anticipate.
Comment 2018-09-18 04:34:24 @shibasaki   Oh @shibasaki! First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your health and heart problems, and I hope that this hospital visit fixes it! Second, you never have to be sorry! You are an amazing artist and you try to share your talent. I think that every artist has to discover who they are and cannot simply imitate your work; they have to learn from you and then be the best artist that they can be ... they cannot be you :) Third, and most importantly, I would be honored to be your friend, and in fact, I already consider you as such :) I know that you are an amazing artist, and now I also know that you are a grandfather, but I'm also very interested in learning more about you as a person. I think that you have a very special heart and soul, like most artists do, and I can't wait to communicate more details with you. Steemit, and life really, is about opening up and making yourself vulnerable; that is very difficult for many, but I believe it is totally worth it! Your friend, Lynn
Comment 2018-09-17 12:27:00 @joelai   Hi @joelai :) I don't know where to begin with this post! I love it, but can't really answer your questions, although I know who probably can! @simplymike is a gardener extraordinaire!! and if anyone can help you out, she can. Comment 2018-09-17 12:06:24 @pluridimensional   This is such a cool idea @pluridimensional!! I love the final product :) I'm submitting this to c-squared in the hopes that they pop by and show their support as well :) Nice job!
Comment 2018-09-17 11:58:51 @adelair   Wow, very creative @adelair! I really like the final touches of color illuminating off the character too; and the dragon is epic :)
Comment 2018-09-17 03:59:36 @friendsofgondor   Woot woot!!! @fulltimegeek, you the man Bobby!! Nice job :) ... you two Dave :)
Comment 2018-09-16 22:17:18 @donkeypong   It was a dark and stormy night. I love me a lil' thickly spread sarcasm :) Killer (?) heffalump bees. Who knew? :) And I love that there was the smell of peanut butter and honey in the humid air haha Looking forward to the rest of this tale!
Comment 2018-09-16 22:02:27 @hitmeasap   Hey @hitmeasap! Good for you to delegate more, and as always, I appreciate what you send my way. I too was wondering the same about steem-ua; I haven't looked terribly close at it, but the stock comments you get tell me you're heading in the right direction about it all. So did you set your autovote to 15 minutes exactly? I guess I should have a close look at tcpolymath's post too. Thanks again :)
Comment 2018-09-16 21:56:00 @janton   Geez, he was a bit like a cat with nine lives, wasn't he?! We just watched Deadpool 2 yesterday, and one of the character's superpower was being "lucky"; I think that was Wild Bill's superpower too :) Congratulations on Asher's league buddy! Nice job...again!
Comment 2018-09-16 21:44:24 @beeyou   Thanks for bringing this up @beeyou; and yes, I have it all sorted out (as much as my brain allows haha) by crokkon :)
Comment 2018-09-16 21:43:21 @crokkon   It's clear to me! Thanks again :)
Comment 2018-09-16 21:42:45 @crokkon   Thank you @crokkon! I hadn't even noticed what @beeyou did, but by the end of her post, I had all the same questions :)
Comment 2018-09-16 21:40:30 @puravidaville   Couldn't have said it better myself :) Great job @edprivat!
Comment 2018-09-16 21:37:57 @steemcommunity   I'm in!! Thank you @paulag and @abh12345! This is such a great idea to break the huge gap between minnow and dolphin up a little bit ... seems much more manageable that way :)
Comment 2018-09-16 21:35:45 @abh12345   Another week and there are a lot of new names near the top, but you know who is still stuck up there in first place! Geez, I need some rainy days to force myself back inside! I'm so glad to have hit one of the "no self-voting" spots too! Thanks Asher and @curie :) I was expecting nothing here this week, so it's nice to be pleasantly surprised; I'm also pleased with my position considering how much of the week I actually took off. Happy Sunday bud!
Comment 2018-09-16 21:32:51 @smithlabs   Congratulations @smithlabs! Second place woooo hoooo :) hahaha even using your phone everywhere, that darn @janton and his magic chair cannot be beat!!
Comment 2018-09-16 21:26:42 @scrawly   Regardless of why, congratulations are in order @scrawly :) Nice job!
Comment 2018-09-16 21:26:12 @bengy   Way to rain on that parade @bengy ;)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:44:18 @janton   hahaha I"m just heading to bed now :) I've missed chitter-chatting with you too! only with beer! I'm with you ... vegan equals no meat, so don't even try to fake it ... especially with a Texan LOL
Comment 2018-09-16 05:42:06 @pifc   Thank you for the concern! but it's more my back/shoulder/neck kind of thing ... my head is way too hard to be affected by that :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:33:09 @dandays   hahaha nice giphy! Listen dude, you're one of the cool kids now. Get used to it :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:32:00 @profanereviews   @simplymike aka newbiegames is looking for a little something on this post. That's all you have to do is comment by finishing the sentence "Never have I ever..." and tag a couple more people to get the ball rolling. Check out the comments too...
Comment 2018-09-16 05:25:00 @eye4art   Hey there @eye4art! Sorry I've been "out" again for a few days! Love this selection, as always!!
Comment 2018-09-16 05:23:51 @janton   Hey @janton! How's it going?! Yes, I've been out of the game here for a few days :) Vegan brisket hmmmm; I'm sure it's good, but alongside the real thing, I just don't know! We found a real KFC here the other day, and I've got to say; every now and again, it's pretty yummy. For a long time we've walked by a place called Mr. Pollo Kentucky (pollo=chicken) LOL Mexican knock-off KFC :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:18:45 @simplymike   awww that's awesome!! Such a great photo :) It is amazing the love that they can give, isn't it?! Every day now, when I pick Buddy up, he's head-butts me, but leaves his head against mine, purring like a freight train. Brian, who's always had cats, says he's never seen anything like it :) I think Buddy loves his new home too...and of course his mama :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:15:33 @puravidaville   You are most welcome @puravidaville ;) Hope you guys are having a great weekend too!
Comment 2018-09-16 05:14:45 @fibrefox   hahaha of course you are :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:11:39 @frejafri   Again, such beautiful photos ... love the cheese being smoked, but Willow steals the show for sure! Do you speak Italian? If not, this must have gotten a little lonely for lack of a better word; of course it's so cool to be able to stay their for free, but with everyone else doing their 'jobs', a two year old can only be 'company' for so long :) I'm saying that as a mom myself ... love them to death, but man, adult company is pretty sweet too! All that aside, pretty cool experience too! Submitting this to c-squared :)
Comment 2018-09-16 05:05:18 @shibasaki   I've been to Venice too @shibasaki, and I must say that you captured it all perfectly ... almost better than the real thing ;) The day I was on the ferry, the waves looked exactly like what you painted!!
Comment 2018-09-16 05:00:21 @frejafri   Wow!! This place is fantastic!! So beautiful, but I can imagine the winters would be brutal! And I love marmots :) Back in Canada, near Vancouver, a major highway project was put on hold because they found a big marmot colony 'right in the way' where the road was supposed to go :) They decided to relocate them before construction could continue, which made me very happy ;) Love this @frejafri! Thanks for sharing :) I was going to submit it to c-squared, but I see it's already been done!
Comment 2018-09-16 04:48:21 @buckaroo   Soooo beautiful @buckaroo :) My family on my dad's side are from Belgium, although sadly, I've never been. Love the tulip photos though. There's a place outside Vancouver, Canada that's known for its' tulip fields ... Abbotsford Tulip Festival (google it ;), it's pretty awesome, but it doesn't have cheese ... a major strike against it ! Submitting this to c-squared too :) Nice work!
Comment 2018-09-16 04:35:45 @curatorcat   Love the photos @curatorcat! Although any cat pic is A-OK with me :) Here's Buddy chillin' on his patio on this fine caturday :)
Comment 2018-09-16 04:29:09 @cicisaja   Now I understand why you've been away! Does FIL mean grandfather? I love seeing all the different plants and fruit there ... hope you have time for a post on candied bilimbis too :) I've been away this week too ... well, away from steemit, and just enjoying time with Brian and Buddy :) I read through the comments here and I love how your hubby wanted you to wear that hat :) You two are sweet!
Comment 2018-09-16 04:18:21 @happycrazycon   I'm a little late, but I was going to guess @amalinavia too :)
Comment 2018-09-16 04:08:54 @drawmeaship   I'm definitely going to say @jaynie :) And I like your giphy!
Comment 2018-09-16 04:05:51 @domiwla   l didn't realize that they could move like that @domiwla!! Did it poke through your skin? bleed?
Comment 2018-09-16 04:03:06 @paradise.ati   Thank you @paradise.ati :) I'm glad you liked it!!
Comment 2018-09-16 03:48:09 @robertandrew   Thank you so much @robertandrew! It really was such a great find, and I've got our landlord to thank for it, because we never would have found it on our own! Brian did have a great day ... he's had a few rough ones since, but that day is forever etched in my memory as a good one :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:46:30 @agmoore   hahaha maybe I should really try and get a job with them :) Good idea @agmoore!! Isn't Buddy just the best?! Here is today, just chillaxin' haha Thanks @agmoore :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:29:03 @jaynie   That's a good mantra to have @jaynie ... really accentuates the difference between wants and needs !! Mine is Live today without expectations. I will not be disappointed, but quite possibly, I will be pleasantly surprised :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:25:27 @chekohler   awww thank you so much @chekohler!! I'm humbled to be nominated and included in a list like yours and @see-it-feel-it's list too! I'd never forget you buddy :) It's awesome to see so many angels nominated too!! This platform is full of them :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:24:48 @abh12345   hahaha Asher, I was going to say modest but possibly clueless on this one lol Hope you're weekend is going well my friend and that bartending isn't killing you :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:15:18 @wolfhart   Sending big hugs bud! I send you a message on Discord; I'm sure you'll get to it, when you get to it :)
Comment 2018-09-16 03:09:30 @faffy   This is so cute @faffy! I love it; the gifphy was a great idea too:) I'm submitting this to c-squared (an off-shoot of curie) and hopefully they stop by to show their appreciation as well :)
Comment 2018-09-16 02:50:18 @cecicastor   Thank you @cecicastor! We totally treasure him :) Check out my response above to dandays ... I've never had a landlord like him!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:48:54 @dandays   No kidding right??!! He is the coolest! Get this: in passing, we asked him how to go about paying extra to get some English channels on TV; two days later, we had a new Smart TV installed, and the fastest fibre optic wifi ever ... like on the planet!! He's awesome :) He texted us two nights ago before bed, "buenos noches, ma familia" :) awww, right?!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:47:15 @roselifecoach   hahaha I think it would have fed a family of six @roselifecoach!!!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:46:45 @joelai   awww thank you @joelai! I'm happy that our happiness makes you happy haha :)
Comment 2018-09-16 02:46:09 @bengy   haha I know, that one is huge!! And you're right...the crispiness of the skin is delicious:) YES!! the "cheek meat" lol sooooo good!!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:43:48 @appreciator   I love seeing the choices from elegance too every day, as well, of course, as the steemitbloggers one :) Thanks!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:42:03 @claudiaz   Great ideas @claudiaz! I hate all the toxic junk that's in cleaning supplies. I started using orange oil years ago to polish wood, but love the idea of coconut oil too :) Thanks for the tips!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:38:27 @nomadicsoul   Wow! This is really cool, despite the name haha Seriously, great idea :)
Comment 2018-09-16 02:36:54 @appreciator   Congratulations everyone, and thank you @appreciator :)
Comment 2018-09-16 02:34:42 @steemitbloggers   This one looks very interesting! Going to have a look at it now :) Thank you @steemitbloggers!!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:31:36 @steemitbloggers   I missed a day, and am catching up :) Nice pic @steemitbloggers!!
Comment 2018-09-16 02:28:39 @rwedegis   Looks delicious Roger! And I'm with you; if I can do it in the pressure cooker, I will. It is the one and only thing I wish I would have brought with me here. I'm sure I can find one if I search for it, but you know, I've been busy swimming and playing with dogs haha I'm submitting your post to c-squared; hopefully they stop by and show their appreciation too :)
Comment 2018-09-16 01:00:12 @avizor   hahaha it was, except for when I was a kid and we caught fish to eat :) But since I've been an adult, I've not had anything fresher :) Thank you for reading and commenting @avizor!!
Comment 2018-09-16 00:59:21 @joyrobinson   Hola!! No kidding?! In Spain; that's so interesting ... you're the first to know what it is :) Thank you for stopping by; I didn't know you were a @steemitblogger :) That's awesome!

Comment 2018-09-15 18:04:42 @cicisaja   Well if you two ever come here, all four of us will go to that restaurant and order the biggest fish they have and share it :) And look at buddy's belly 😂 I think he already represent all of your tummy look like. Full and happy💖 That's it exactly @cicisaja!! Thank you for stopping by :)
Comment 2018-09-15 18:03:21 @roleerob   Better than Vancouver @roleerob!!! But I have to say, I've been missing salmon, and that you can't find too easily here :) hahaha yes, Buddy is fat! We can say that out loud :) He's actually been eating less and playing outside more ... so that's a good thing! He just didn't have the space to do that at our last place, so I'm glad he actually gets to be a cat here! Thank you so much for stopping by @roleerob! :)
Comment 2018-09-15 18:00:39 @injiskitchen   Thank you so much @injiskitchen! haha you can tell I enjoyed my meal :) I really appreciate you stopping by too!!

Comment 2018-09-15 17:55:21 @tryskele   hahaha you can always tell from the look of my plate whether or not I enjoyed my meal! Thank you @tryskele! We've been having such lovely days here ... I've been doing steemit less and less and have to admit, enjoying it :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:54:39 @tryskele   I've got this video cued up and will have a look at it this evening. My son just went through another bout of depression; doctors changed his meds, but man, it's tough as a parent when you can't just "fix" it for him. It's a terrible cross to bear having anxiety, depression etc., and I really look forward to the day when there's not "shame" attached to it as well.
Comment 2018-09-15 17:52:18 @robertandrew   I'm kinda terrified of clowns ... never been a fan, although reading IT as a teenager pretty much sealed the deal on that one! I'm oddly curious to see you in your costume though ;)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:48:48 @guchtere   Hey there @guchtere :) I finally made it over here ... something that's been on my list of to-do's for days now! I love this photo! Is it in the Netherlands? If so, it reminds me of British Columbia, Canada; I lived there for most of my adult life, and it looks so much like the West Coast :) Beautiful!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:45:27 @domiwla   It's so delicious, isn't it @domiwla :) Thank you so much for stopping by!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:44:57 @jaichai   hahahaha I LOVE your responses :) So kooky, yet so true!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:44:36 @tattoodjay   Some languages sound so beautiful, don't they. Like Italian too. The food really was delicious :) Thanks for stopping by @tattoodjay :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:42:42 @helenoftroy   "Relaxed" dining is it exactly!! The food really does taste better, and now that you mention it, I wonder if my fish would have tasted soooo good served up in a regular restaurant? :) Thank you so much for stopping by @helenoftroy :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:41:33 @sumatranate    Sounds like you might have the BEST landlord ever. We really do!! We happened to ask him who to call if we wanted English TV channels, and yesterday, the TV/internet guys arrived; we now have the fastest fibre optic wifi going, and a new Smart TV with all kinds of English channels! He is awesome :) You and your wife's date night sounds beautiful! There's something unbelievable lovely being that close to nature, being grounded, and just enjoying each other and the sights, sounds and smells around you ... oh yeah, and the tastes :) Thank you very much for stopping by @sumatranate :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:38:24 @anouk.nox   aww thank you @anouk.nox! And yes, we think Buddy's pretty darn cute haha
Comment 2018-09-15 17:37:18 @starjewel   Thank you very much @starjewel! I thought it was local, but someone from Spain commented that they have that fish too :) So cool what we can learn here!!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:36:12 @iamjadeline   hahaha @iamjadaline!! "Finger licking good!" is so true :) I licked the bones, my fingers, and would have licked the plate too if I could have haha
Comment 2018-09-15 17:35:30 @guchtere   Thank you @guchtere! I'm not sure how many men caught those fish, but I've seen one guy in action before, and his cooler was filled in no time; just a random guy on the beach! It's so cool how they do "things" here :) The sunset was pretty beautiful again ... I just forget to take pictures because I'm so busy enjoying it haha Thank you so much for stopping by!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:32:12 @guchtere   I'm with you @guchtere!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:31:03 @gillianpearce   @gillianpearce! I didn't know about the whole "flag" thing! I'm curious for details. I've not looked into steemmonsters yet; probably should. I know you tend to get bored with things, so something new like that keeps you here ;)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:23:39 @jaynie   Sorry, I've been out for a couple days, but so glad to see this upon my return! Going to resteem it now too :) Love, love, love @steemitbloggers :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:22:42 @jaynie   Such a great initiative, isn't it?!!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:18:21 @horriblesteemian   oh shite! That's gonna be in my head all day now :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:17:45 @rentmoney   I haven't either! :) We might be a rarity here though @rentmoney :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:15:24 @headchange   hahaha I too have thankfully never seen your husband's head
Comment 2018-09-15 17:15:03 @headchange   I've noticed that!! Why is that @headchange? Just a "privacy" thing? or are you wanted worldwide? :)

Comment 2018-09-15 17:12:48 @simplymike   Never have I ever sky dived before :) I'm calling over @profanereviews ... never know what you're gonna get from him though haha
Comment 2018-09-15 17:11:21 @asapers   Wow! 100!! That's a great achievement, and I know in a blink of an eye, it will be 200+ :) Great community effort everyone!!
Comment 2018-09-15 17:09:12 @fibrefox   Wait til Brian hears that we're "movers and shakers" haha That's awesome :) I've recently gotten to know @dandays and his lovely wife @puravidaville ... if they're not a power couple, I don't know who is :) Hope you are well @fibrefox ;)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:05:36 @eoj   These are great @eoj!! I just love how street art brightens a city up, 'discusses' more serious issues, and just keeps people's attention. There sure seems to be plenty there for you to enjoy too :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:02:57 @willymac   Awesome @willymac! Great job :)
Comment 2018-09-15 17:00:21 @delishtreats   Thank you @delishtreats :)
Comment 2018-09-15 16:59:27 @tattoodjay   I saw this several days ago, and just haven't been on here to comment, but, I'll have you know that I've been humming ZZTop non-stop during all that time haha I LOVE this one ... the gum stuck on the bottom of her boot is a great touch too!
Comment 2018-09-15 16:56:36 @gillianpearce   Great photo @gillianpearce! That does sound like a lovely way to spend a hot afternoon too ;) Love the European architecture; except for old Quebec City, Canada just isn't old enough to have that :)
Comment 2018-09-15 16:54:57 @classicmemes   Did you read the post? What points might you be referring to?
Comment 2018-09-15 16:54:12 @puravidaville   This looks delicious @puravidaiville :) Cautious Outlaw ... I like it:) Even though it's still stinkin' hot here in Mexico, September calls out to me in the same way, so I tried an oatmeal cinnamon cookie recipe here that truly was an epic failure ... turned out to be more like crumbled muffins ... I can't just throw stuff out ... so I made a apple cinnamon bread pudding of sorts too from it; threw in a little this, little that and we enjoyed it immensely! I never think to take a photo or turn it into a post, until I'm staring, belly full, at an empty plate though haha
Comment 2018-09-15 16:44:48 @jaichai   The title alone would get me to pick this one up, but after your description and musings, I'm going to read it for sure. Perhaps it's imperfection that people might miss; there's so much enjoyment, I think, in not being perfect, or in fact, being unique. Hey, random... I thought of you yesterday. Took this photo at a stoplight on the back of the scooter :) Check out the name of the Hostel: Brian: "what are you doing back there?" Me: "It's for jaichai! :)" Brian: "what??" Me: "nevermind haha"
Comment 2018-09-15 16:35:15 @sumatranate   I use this saying all the time!! Food especially, but also for positive vibes and love going out, just looking at the world through a positive lens brings it back ten fold; the news ugh... I quit looking at mainstream new media a long time ago and try to find news sources that are less entertainment driven ... all of it! You hit on something important with this post @sumatranate! Thank you :)
Comment 2018-09-15 16:31:24 @paulag   Congratulations to all those on the Wall of Fame, and to everyone else reaching for it :) Nice job @paulag ;)
Comment 2018-09-15 15:40:06 @starjewel   When I grew up, my neighbor had a huge weeping willow tree and I remember its' beauty of course, but what really stays with me was the sound it made when the wind blew through it on a quiet summer day. The swoosh of those magnificent limbs often pop in my head when I'm now swinging in my hammock. Funny what memories pop up with sights, sounds and smells, isn't it?! :) Thank you for this one!
