Comment 2018-09-22 10:41:30 @roelandp   What is the deadline for submitting artwork @roelandp? 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 10:26:45 @scrooger   I joined up recently but have not posted anything yet @scrooger. So far Weku has the ability to "Disable" account. I didn't know this and it bothers me A LOT after my recent experience with Steem Cleaners. If the same thing happened on Weku that would have been nine months of work and earnings down the drain. And . . . it is bound to happen to someone at some point.
Comment 2018-09-22 10:22:45 @exyle   It sounds reasonable to me @exyle. If there are still things being sorted after the outage that it makes more sense to wait. If it's been a year since the last one. What difference does one week make?
Comment 2018-09-22 10:19:48 @simplymike   That was exactly my experience @simplymike! Glad I'm not alone. 😂 And now the fourth is out and my brain has shut down completely. There's way too much going on. My mind simply can't handle all that information at one.
Comment 2018-09-22 10:07:06 @cryptocariad    It's also going to be difficult for the younger one as she's got a couple more years Oh my. That is going to be a big difference for her. I was the youngest of three but left home before the middle brother did! 😁
Comment 2018-09-22 10:05:27 @immarojas   I've never been very good at kite flying either @immarojas although is something with often do up on The South Downs. I hope the rice harvesters had a successful day. It is fortunate that the crop wasn't too damaged by the typhoon. have a lovely weekend. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 10:01:27 @world-travel-pro   I've really enjoyed the raspberries this year @world-travel-pro, although not as cheaply as those of course. I think the long, hot summer must have made them especially sweet. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 10:00:24 @world-travel-pro   $1.27 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:55:48 @molometer   That's interesting @molometer. I've not heard of nor seen "Jacks" before but we have both Aldis and Lidls locally. We go there sometimes just because they have surprises that you can't get anywhere else. One of my best buys was a telescope for John for Christmas, for example. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:52:09 @sallybeth23   Lovely to see some photographs of your homeland @sallybeth23. Are the grapes nice and sweet? 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:45:12 @davemccoy   Oh my @davemccoy. That is soooooo much to get our heads around. I still haven't got to grips with your last lesson yet. Thank you for writing them though. I am sure I will be returning to them again and again. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:43:00 @jonnyla08   Contulations on your win @onefatindian and thank you to @jonnyla08 for another giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:42:09 @jacey.boldart   I had no idea that Andy Warhol and I were on the same page @jacey.boldart. Thank you for sharing the quote and for sharing your experience. Have a fun weekend! 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:37:15 @fotosdenada   Beautiful photographs @fotosdenada. I'm glad your father has lent you his truck so you could take them. 😊
Comment 2018-09-22 09:35:30 @otage   I love the black and white version especially @otage. Another of your super photogenic random finds. 😁
Comment 2018-09-22 09:33:36 @margaretwise    wild and wonderful That is interesting @margaretwise since they were anything but wild. Nicely organised in a shop's yard. 😂 Definitely wonderful though. Have a lovely weekend!
Comment 2018-09-21 20:58:18 @aggroed   Are you aware of @oracle-d @aggroed? I think they are doing similar things to this at least as far as attracting outsider businesses to the blockchain is concerned. If you don't know of them it might be worth taking a look. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:53:15 @cryptocariad   Ah. I remember that moment @cryptocariad. It's a toughie. You bring them up to be independent and make their own way in the world but it doesn't make it any easier when the do. 💙
Comment 2018-09-21 20:41:24 @moderndayhippie    Its hard to explain but basically only small portions of the roads are covered with fast moving river water so a boat wouldn't help in this situation. Ah I see. I did wonder about that @moderndayhippie when I saw your photographs. Hopefully you will get to a garage tomorrow then and things will start getting better for you. 💙
Comment 2018-09-21 20:41:03 @fullcoverbetting   Thank you fullcoverbetting. That's kind of you to say so. 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 20:39:45 @monstermadness   Congratulations @sparkesy43 and thank you @monstermadness for the giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:39:18 @jacey.boldart   I totally agree @jacey.boldart. It's very nicely done I think. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:38:36 @fotosdenada   quite possibly @fotosdenada. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:37:51 @seanreilly   That's an interesting one @seanreilly. I thought the gate looked a bit elaborate for that but you could be right. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:35:27 @eaglespirit   It's not too late @eaglespirit! 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:33:06 @exyle   Happy anniversary! Wishing you many more fun years together! 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:11:54 @neddykelly   Thank you @neddykelly. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 20:07:27 @sumatranate   thank you @sumatranate. it seems that the feedback is very positive so far. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:05:21 @lynncoyle1   Ha, ha, ha. We're so alike @lynncoyle1 but after reading @cryptogee's comment I went over to the site and found that the prices hadn't gone up yet so I booked! Woo hoo! Now I've just got to keep the positive vibes going. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 20:02:48 @cyclamen   Ljubljana is another place on my must visit list. It looks gorgeous @cyclamen. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:01:30 @molometer   Are there any films about him I wonder @molometer. I don't tend to read nonfiction these days. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 20:01:03 @cryptogee   thank you @cryptogee. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 20:00:42 @offgridlife   thank you very much @offgridlife. I'm glad you like it. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 19:54:21 @cryptogee    Dooooo it, doooo it, dooo it, doo it, do it do it do it do it!!! 😁😁😁 Ha, ha, ha. @cryptogee. 😂 That's exactly what I needed. Thank you soooooooo much. I've done it. I've booked my ticket! Woo hoo! I owe you a drink . . . or two so I'll see you at the bar. 😍 😍 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 19:32:09 @fineartnow   Thank you very much @fineartnow. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 19:30:03 @cryptogee   Aw. Thank you so much @cryptogee. What a lovely assessment. I really appreciate it. I'm certainly getting a lot more reaction than I did the first time around. Maybe I should repost some more from back when I first arrived on Steemit. 😍😍😍
Comment 2018-09-21 19:22:09 @denisechips   Oh. That's a bit of a relief @denisechips. I haven't come across any other fence sitters. 😂 Any reasons in particular why you haven't decided to go? Have you been to either of the others?
Comment 2018-09-21 18:46:36 @nolasco   Aw. I know@nolasco. I wasn't trying to encourage you to go this year. I was just saying that would have helped make the decision. 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 18:08:18 @nolasco   If you were going to be there that would help a lot @nolasco. 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 18:07:12 @heart-to-heart   Aw. What a shame @heart-to-heart. I'm leaving the UK on Friday until the following Tuesday. But if you're still here after that and you fancy a short trip (an hour by train) to the coast I'd love to show you around Brighton. 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 17:38:48 @nolasco    I'm taking a break, yeeeee! That sounds good @nolasco. I've been spending a lot less time here too. 😊 I hope you are fully recovered soon/ 💙
Comment 2018-09-21 17:07:51 @o07   Did you go to either of the other ones @o07? 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 17:06:54 @o07
Comment 2018-09-21 16:27:15 @glenalbrethsen   Yep. It's certainly easier when you know you can't go @glenalbrethsen. Although I still might have spent some time mooning around wishing I could. I can be my own worst enemy at times. 😂
Comment 2018-09-21 16:00:15 @dosdudes   17
Comment 2018-09-21 15:19:54 @yogajill   Sorry to hear that @yogajill. That sounds like a lot to deal with. I won't go into it here as this is not my post. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 15:06:18 @sjarvie5   I can't imagine what I will be doing this time next year @sjarvie5. So much will have changed by then I'm sure. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 14:21:21 @heidimarie   Lovely flowers @heidimarie. Especially so late in the season. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 14:19:54 @klw   Congratulations @gregory-f. Thank you for another giveaway @klw. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 13:27:36 @fullcoverbetting   OK. I can follow that @fullcoverbetting. Thank you for your patience. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 13:27:03 @adrianobalan   Beautiful photographs @adrianobalan. That top one that looks a bit hairy. Most unusual. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 13:26:36 @simplymike   Thanks for the opportunity @simplymike. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 13:26:09 @monstermadness   Thank you again for another giveaway @monstermadness. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 13:03:42 @jonnyla08   77 @gillianpearce
Comment 2018-09-21 12:54:33 @rentmoney   😂
Comment 2018-09-21 12:34:15 @fullcoverbetting    You are really rocking! 😂 😂 😂 I'm glad it looks like that to you @fullcoverbetting. I've been fortunate enough to meet Nanzo a couple of times. His support and others is what has kept me posting in the down (referring to myself not Steem) times. I hope you're doing well. 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 12:17:00 @moderndayhippie   It looks like it turned out worse then than you initially thought @moderndayhippie. I'm sorry to hear that. Does nobody around you have a boat of some sort? Did most of your neighbours evacuate? I hope you find a way to get into town soon.
Comment 2018-09-21 12:10:42 @rentmoney   G8
Comment 2018-09-21 11:41:48 @stever82   I'm doing a bit of both @stever82. The way things look I think the game might be beyond my capabilities in which case I will see my cards as an investment. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 11:39:54 @mightypanda   Thanks for the opportunity @mightypanda. @gillianpearce
Comment 2018-09-21 11:38:15 @neddykelly    47 please @neddykelly

Comment 2018-09-21 11:25:12 @rentmoney   G7
Comment 2018-09-21 11:05:03 @erikah   Oops. Sorry @erikah. I so love my photographs taken through windows I keep forgetting. I must try harder! 😂
Comment 2018-09-21 10:52:00 @fullcoverbetting   I am sorry @fullcoverbetting. I just don't get this. The SP you did delegate out isn’t excluded from the calculationbut the delegation is. Aren't they the same thing?
Comment 2018-09-21 10:39:24 @fullcoverbetting   I have two delegations going out so basically, it sounds like you are saying @fullcoverbetting, those are ignored in the sense that they are not deducted from the total, because I own them. So far so good but the original post says "Delegated SP will be excluded, both in and out". How can an outward delegation be anything other than owned by me and, therefore, in what circumstances would it be excluded?
Comment 2018-09-21 09:38:51 @dswigle   Sounds like we have similar tastes then @dswigle. 😍
Comment 2018-09-21 09:37:33 @yogajill   Never my strong point if I don't decide right away @yogajill. Are you going?
Comment 2018-09-21 09:36:24 @world-travel-pro   $0.89 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 09:33:27 @dswigle   Oh my goodness. I don't think I could manage a trip with all those people. Just looking at those lined up sunbeds makes me want to run for my cabin @dswigle. 😂 I like the "The North Star". Maybe I could retreat up there. How do you get to go up? Do you have to book or stand in a queue? I like the idea of an evening film by the pool. As long as it wasn't too crowded. 😂 The deserted beach looks glorious! Thanks for another insight into life aboard a big cruise ship.
Comment 2018-09-21 09:24:15 @immarojas   So happy for all of you that your mum is finally home @immarojas. I hope that this and the love of her family close by speeds up her recovery no end. Lots of love to you all. 💙
Comment 2018-09-21 09:23:12 @exyle   that's it then @exyle. You're all ready to go! 😁 I thought the price rise must have been about now but wasn't sure exactly when it was. I'm still sitting on the fence . . .
Comment 2018-09-21 09:13:09 @dosdudes   4 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 09:11:51 @randumb   Thank you @randumb. Very exciting indeed. Woo hoo! 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 09:10:48 @sparkesy43   Thank you @sparkesy43. I'm a very happy chappy this morning. Except I'm not actually a chappy! 😂
Comment 2018-09-21 09:09:42 @dosdudes   Thank you @dosdudes. What a great start to the day!!! Sometimes this time zone thing works in my favour! 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 09:07:09 @redrica   Have fun @redrica and crowd. Sorry I can't make it but maybe see you in Brighton soonish. I imagine @ultravioletmag will be wearing more clothes this evening! 😂
Comment 2018-09-21 09:02:39 @poyim   Sounds like Billy Madison. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 09:01:51 @poyim   Sounds like Billy Madison. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 08:48:33 @otage   Haphazardly Flawed
Comment 2018-09-21 08:47:03 @molometer   I've heard of Samuel Pepys Diaries @molometer but know nothing about them. I didn't know of the library either. I'll add it to my places to visit list if I ever get around to returning to Cambridge. 😁
Comment 2018-09-21 08:30:03 @eaglespirit    i'm nowhere near 2 a day anymore Do you find you have lost followers as a result or have less engagement @eaglespirit. My fear of that is what keeps me plodding on. 😂
Comment 2018-09-21 08:28:12 @trisquelwhare   Will do @trisquelwhare. Thank you! 😊
Comment 2018-09-21 08:26:48 @paulag   Sorry @paulag I still don't understand what you're saying here but I don't suppose it matters anyway. I'm not planning on doing anything to manage the figures. My SP will simply be whatever I can scrape up each week. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 22:06:57 @poyim   Please tag me if you give out a hint @poyim. I've thought of a number of films but I don't think any of them are quite right considering your mention of them "sounding like" a title. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 22:03:27 @steemcommunity   I'm a bit confused by the figures here @steemcommunity. I was expecting a negative growth since I've delegated some SP since last week. Delegated SP will be excluded, both in and out. We will be working from owned SP values only. My owned SP according to steemworld is 1,956.19 SP. However, if you look at my wallet it's closer to the figure you've quoted. So it looks like these calculations are still counting SP that has been delegated out.
Comment 2018-09-20 21:48:51 @onceuponatime
Comment 2018-09-20 21:34:36 @onceuponatime   i think you were quite close with you last line @onceuponatime but it's actually X marks the spot, the spot, the spot 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 21:29:12 @anutu   The cyclamens were very lovely @anutu but my favourite is firmly with the wheel barrow. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 21:25:15 @imperfect-one   Wow. What a lucky buy. Congratulations @imperfect-one and thanks for he giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 21:05:42 @denmarkguy    Everything is dominated by a few "600lb gorillas" Seems to be that way. Are you collecting under a different accounts? I went to take a peep but there weren't any cards under Denmarkguy. 😂 I'm planning on opening another account for my Steem Monsters. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 20:50:48 @fotosdenada   Oh dear. That's a sorry tale @fotosdenada. Hopefully you will have better luck next time!
Comment 2018-09-20 20:24:00 @cyclamen   that bottom photograph is good fun @cyclamen. Is that an arrangement you made yourself? 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 20:13:09 @monstermadness   Congratulations on winning the Rexxie @poyim. Thank for continuing to do the giveaways @monstermadness. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 20:12:45 @masterthematrix   Congrtulations to the winner @massdestroyer1 . Thank you for running the giveaway @masterthematrix. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 20:12:03 @nolasco   I love this sequence of photographs. Especially the first one with the sun just beginning to show. hope all is well with you. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 20:07:42 @masterthematrix    the Battle-matching Engine should choose Enemies for you that fit your Monsters Level. Ah. Thanks for that explanation @masterthematrix. I didn't know about this bit. you should be able to level up pretty fast over time!!! I read somewhere that someone had worked out that if you played a card every day it would still take a year to get it to maximum level. No idea what that was based on? 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 19:56:51 @masterthematrix   I have a question @masterthematrix. Most of the examples I've seen so far centre around fully levelled up teams. Will those of us with fewer cards still get a decent change do you think? Will there be any battles for level 1 cards, for example?
Comment 2018-09-20 19:53:00 @shanibeer    I must book in a visit Let me know if you do @shanibeer and I'll see if I can organise a bit of a Steemit meet-up. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 19:43:57 @exyle   Welcome home @exyle and thanks for the heads up on @steemigram. I've not heard of that one before. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 19:30:33 @monstermadness   I haven't got any Beta cards yet @monstermadness. It would be great to win one. Thanks for the opportunity. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 19:30:06 @glenalbrethsen    Get debt low, get expenses low, build up assets and income flow. That was our original plan @glenalbrethsen but we ended up with a lot more debt rather than less, after our attempt to build up assets. We didn't lose our home though which was a major fear at the time. I've completed a couple of bits of homework this morning and will try and do something every day as I find it so draining. I'd like to keep the momentum going and see it all the way through.
Comment 2018-09-20 19:29:09 @jonnyla08   Congratulations @sardonic and thank you to @jonnyla08 for the opportunity. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 19:28:42 @klw   Thank you so much @klw. That's great news. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 19:28:21 @onefatindian   thank you @onefatindian. Is such fun seeing a gift in my collection. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 19:28:00 @shanibeer    That little market looks like a medieval jousting tournament with the pennants It does a bit @shanibeer. I can see what you mean. 😁 Yes the arches are in Brighton but those particular ones have only recently been renovated. There are some nearer the Palace Pier than have been open for a long time so I suspect it is those you are thinking of. I'm a big fan of the Sunday market too although it is no longer in the stations car park. You wouldn't recognise that area now. It is full of flats and a hotel. it's totally transformed. The market is now held at the top of the multi-story car park at the Marina. It can get a bit nippy up there when the wind is up! 😂 Elk antlers?!!!!! 😱 OK. I won't ask.
Comment 2018-09-20 19:27:15 @trisquelwhare   It is indeed @trisquelwhare and I was just thinking about you. I wanted to ask a question about your spreadsheet but it would probably better to do so on Discord. I'll try and get over there later. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 19:24:42 @poyim   That's great. Thank you @poyim. I'll go check my wallet now. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 19:23:42 @seanreilly   how nice to see such a lovely picture of your wife @seanreilly. We visited Plovdiv some years ago. I remember the ampitheatre but not much else. I'd have to look at my photographs to remember which town it was. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 18:53:24 @anutu   So we've got upcycling, the South Coast and Malta in common. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 18:49:51 @emmamia   Yep. Patience is the key @emmamia. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 18:25:21 @o07   Ta! 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 18:09:33 @o07   What's the easiest way to make a gif @o07?
Comment 2018-09-20 18:02:45 @emmamia   The main mushroom was sharp enough I think @emmamia. The rest just looks like intentional soft focus of a macro photograph. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 17:42:30 @emmamia   Wow. Those mushrooms look like something out of a fairy tale @emmamia. A lovely set of photographs making the most of the end of green.
Comment 2018-09-20 16:53:39 @empress-eremmy   Thank you @empres-eremmy. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 16:49:27 @lynncoyle1   Ha. ha. ha. @lynncoyle1. I only just saw this. Well said! 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 15:50:15 @anutu    I love to create upcycling art Me too. although I've not done any for a while. In fact, when I first came to Steemit I was planning on posting mostly about my art but I didn't get much traction so switched to photography and blogging. I am currently living in Hove which used to be a town in it's own right but is now part of Brighton and Hove when it became a city. I'm going to Gozo next Friday for a few days. My mum lives there. Small world, eh? 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 15:39:39 @robertandrew   You are welcome @robertandrew and thank you for adding me to your manual curation trail.
Comment 2018-09-20 15:22:15 @adrianobalan   Incredible photographs of water droplets @adrianobalan. I wish I had a camera that could take such shots. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 14:56:39 @abh12345   Thanks for the update @abh12345. So is the bar with the red canopy The Cwtch? Great news re @curie and @fulltimegeek. I'm already up to my full 30 votes so someone will have to get the chop! 😊 I'll check out the post you mention. Sounds like a cushy number to me, your job. Getting paid to hang out with friends and write Steemit posts! 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 14:56:09 @see-it-feel-it   Gosh. Only 5 makes it very hard @see-it-feel-it. But here are my nominations: @abh12345 @blacklux @eaglespirit @lynncoyle1 @mariannewest
Comment 2018-09-20 14:31:27 @seanreilly    There's a big misconception that instant meals and microwave dishes are for eating on a budget. It's actually amazing how much money I save when cutting those out. We found the same. Making a weekly meal plan and doing a main shop once a week (rather than dropping in for stuff every day) saved us loads. We've slipped a bit with this lately and are just trying o get back into making a weekly plans. I'd much rather be able to save up for my travels than waste £60 on a hangover and sore ears! I was having a conversation with my son recently who said that he spends about £60 on a night out. I was gob smacked!!!! I had no idea. I own my phone and don't have to worry about paying a contract off. Same for me on this one too. I have a Samsung A5 and my pay as you go is so old I actually get it for nothing because I get a free coffee from O2 every week (which I would normally pay for). 😂 Sounds like a good plan regarding property. Prices in the South of England (at least where there are jobs) are nuts. My daughter can't even afford to rent in Brighton and Hove and has had to move further an further out of town. I think Northumbria is probably the cheapest of the places you mention but a friend of mine moved back there from here some years ago and has really struggled with local attitudes etc., even though she is from there originally. She's hoping to move closer to Edinburgh next year and it can't come fast enough as far as she's concerned. Where are you're wife's family Nearer Moscow or St Petersburg or neither? 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 12:27:54 @streetstyle    We literally had the ocean for our back yard, with the sound of the wind and waves to soothe us into sleep at night. That sounds wonderful @streetstyle. Exactly the sort of place I would love to stay in. Great composition in your photograph. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 12:21:03 @jonnyla08   47 @gillianpearce Thanks for the contest @jonnyla08. 😊

Comment 2018-09-20 11:49:51 @seanreilly    recklessly waste money during our trips abroad I'm not sure I would call that reckless @seanreilly and certainly not a reason for regret. When you're young is the time to do such things and enjoy it while you can, knowing that you have years ahead to make it up. John and I just enjoyed ourselves before we had our son and then took a long hard look at the credit card debt we'd created. At that point, a long time ago, it was £11,000. We saw that we were spending way too much on ready make meals, take aways and DIY. We cut those out or back and were able to pay off the date within 18 months. Then we lived "sensibly" until the investment that went horribly wrong, through no fault of our own. It was supposed to be our retirement fund but since then we have been working to pay off the debt to get back to a level paying field. I couldn't bare to look at the figures all in one go and put off getting professional advice. However, the years are running out and we needed to get a reality check and now I'm glad we did. At least we can make future plans from here knowing what the really situation is instead of covering away from it. It looks like we were fortunate in that the loss was early enough in our lives so as to be paid off while we are still working. It's quite a challenge though, not going to the place, of "if only". For example, without that crash in the 80s we would probably have retired early by now. But it is as it is and I try not to visit that place in my mind. it sounds to me like you're managing your finances optimally - having fun while your young and free and reigning it in as you get older. Are you buying your house in Russia or the UK?
Comment 2018-09-20 11:45:51 @cryptocariad   That's interesting to read about 'tanalised' timber @cryptocariad. I didn't know that either. A pretty pastoral scene too. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 11:43:12 @denmarkguy    I did have a brief interaction with someone who was "official" and he said it was fine to copy over "old" Steemit posts AS LONG AS they were clearly marked as YOU being the content owner AND with a clear "previously published on Steemit" message somewhere prominent. That's good to hear @denmarkguy. If I can find some time maybe I will start doing that. i'm not sure though because, as you know, I'm decreasing my time spent online so not sure where i will fit it in. I am probably going to start a new account for Steem Monsters posts but that will depend on whether I actually play or not. I'm not sure how much opportunity there will be for "little" players. People are buying thousands of cards and levelling them all up so, even with different levels of tournaments, I'm not sure just how many people will be playing with just a few cards. I've bought some as a bit of speculation too since we may be able to delegate them. anyway . . . I digress. Thank you for the additional information. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 11:34:57 @otage   Good point! Although, to tell the truth, I haven't really looked at them yet. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 11:23:03 @janton    I thought steemit was your retirement plan So did I @janton, for about six months. Then I realised just how hard it is to earn Steem nowadays and came back down to earth with a bump. 😢 Although, if Steem prices rise it still might be of course. I'd prefer to create regular income though. Maybe something new will come along on the Steem Blockchain that will allow me to do that. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 11:16:48 @anutu   Sounds like you've had some interesting careers @anutu. Where is your tiny island? I don't really have a passions @anutu. I'm more of a dabbler. I've always liked photography and Steemit has give me some purpose for taking photographs which is fun. If I have any passion I would say it is my family and friends. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 11:14:24 @jacey.boldart    That happened to so many people. Yes it did @jacey-boldart. And that helped a bit. And at least we didn't lose our home. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 10:20:21 @tattoodjay   Glad you enjoyed them @tattoodjay. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 10:19:54 @alexicp   What's a "fear ejeje" @alexicp. I've not heard that before. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 10:19:09 @eaglespirit   Nah @eaglespirit. I'm half back as in posting 50% less than I used to. I'm no longer looking for new accounts to follow either. All in all I'm spending lot less time here. Getting to bed at a reasonable time again which is good. 😁 Hope things are good with you. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 10:05:24 @lynncoyle1   I love ruins too @lynncoyle1 although these are a bit of a cheat since they are not really that old. Still fun to explore though! 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 10:03:09 @lynncoyle1   😍
Comment 2018-09-20 10:01:21 @jonnyla08   Congratulations on your win @trisquelwhare. Thanks to @jonnyla08 for the giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 09:58:36 @jacey.boldart    For a while, there wasn't enough left to worry about what to do with it...so... no worries... right? Exactly @jacey-boldart. We were flying by the seat of our pants until we got caught out in the banking crisis and then lost our pants. We've been trying to cover ourselves up every since. The business we invested with went bankrupt and we were left with a hefty debt although the guys that went bankrupt came out of it OK as they'd put everything in their wive's name. It was a very difficult time for us and we just put our heads down and worked to get back on an even keel. Now it's time to look up and see where we actually are rather than living in denial or fear. So, yesterday's meeting was the first step towards that. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 09:52:51 @ocrdu   That goes without saying! 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 09:49:36 @glenalbrethsen    Just what kinds of things does he have you doing? Pretty obvious stuff really. Finding out what the numbers actually are. For example, John has a pension through work and we have no idea how much it is worth or will pay. We have no idea how much his State pension will be either. There are a couple of savings account that I couldn't be bothered to re-open when the 12 months term ran out and I need to do that. We have a rental property but have no idea how much that is worth so need to get that valued. The same with our home. Also, I'd like to find out the rental value of it since I have an idea to rent it out for 6 months and travel off the income but I don't know if that's really possible. also, we have no idea how much money we would need in retirement so he helped us by suggesting how to take out best guess at that. so now we need to get on top of all our spending and see what and how we spend on. That sort of thing. The meeting yesterday was more a get to know each other and some ideas of what we might want to look at. it was free and the next meeting will be too. At that one we should have all our figures together and we'll take it from there. He said, it may be that that is all we need to to do and won't need his help past that so we'll see. The lead up to it was pretty emotional for me. I was quite tearful on and off all day. But he gave me the thing I wanted most which was reassurance that we will be OK and not living off beans in our retirement. 😊 We got involved in a property investment about 20 years ago that failed in the last crash and were left with a massive debt borrowed against our home. Plus, it was supposed to provide our retirement income. Since then we've been plodding on working to get back on a level keel but when I looked at the figures, yesterday it really upset and panicked me all over again. However, as you can tell from the above, i wasn't looking at the full picture. I'm still not out of the woods in terms of the fear but at least I feel we will come out of this with a realistic picture of what our situation is. We've been trying to find a financial adviser for years but no-one I met and asked was particularly enthusiastic about theirs. Until I met a woman in a yoga class at the beginning of last year, who was just on the way to meet hers. She she was very happy with him so I decided to give him ago. it took the best part of 2 years to get around to it though! But I'm happy now I've done it. 😁
Comment 2018-09-20 09:33:00 @dosdudes   thank you very much for the silveshield knight @dosdudes. It's much appreciated. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 09:21:57 @ocrdu   OK. Thanks @ocrdu. I'll look you up if I return there. 😂
Comment 2018-09-20 09:20:51 @tobixen    Can the financial adviser be trusted? I think this one can @tobixen. He already pointed us in some directions we didn't know about. It's only burying your head in the sand if your're not doing anything and pretending that there's nothing that needs to be dealt with. That's what we've been doing for years. 😢 Sounds like your on top of your situation. That's great! 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 09:16:09 @ocrdu   Yes it is @orcdu. I just signed up and then left. Are you actually using Weku? Any tips? 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 09:13:36 @adrianobalan   I love the details in the stamen on the top flower @adrianobalan. Nice range of colours. 😊
Comment 2018-09-20 08:36:12 @dosdudes   thanks for the opportunity @dosdudes. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:32:30 @exyle   Have a smooth flight @exyle. As you say . . . "see you on the other side!" 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:31:45 @sallybeth23   Beautiful photographs from the air @sallybeth23. It is a long time since i have been in a plane that small. I'm glad you had good weather!
Comment 2018-09-19 21:29:51 @janton   Yep. That's right @janton. I had yet to discover Steemit. Hopefully it will be an autumn of brilliant colours. We shall see. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:29:18 @otage   I really like it @otage. Great job! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:28:45 @heidimarie   I love the top photograph especially @heidimarie. beautiful scenery as always. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:28:12 @anutu   That is interesting @anutu. Is colour energy therapy your job or something you do for a hobby?
Comment 2018-09-19 21:27:39 @monstermadness   Thank you for another giveaway @monstermadness. What's with the gold toes on the Goblin Shaman? 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 21:27:09 @jacey.boldart    even damaged, the beauty still shines through. I agree @jacey.boldart. And sometimes the ruins can be even more beautiful than the original I think. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:26:42 @intellihandling   I've seen a number of people talking about Wirex @intellihandling and keep meaning to look into it. But I haven't done so yet. I have a Revolut card which helps me get money onto an exchange without paying high fees but you can't have a crypto wallet on it. you can buy crypto with it but not sell. I wonder whether a Wirex card would be enough or whether I'd need my Revolut card as well. As I say. I need to look into it. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:26:18 @adrianobalan   Such perfect little flowers @adrianobalan. Great photographs! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:24:24 @tattoodjay   Lovely photographs @tattoodjay. That top one looks like a painting. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:14:03 @phortun    everyone should still enjoy being here in the first place. yes. I agree. This is key @phortun. Thanks for the encouragement! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:11:57 @molometer   Ah. That bought back some happy memories @molometer. It's been on my list to revisit Cambridge for years but I've not made it back yet. it would be fun to wander around the streets and take a punt again. I wonder if you can still walk to Grantchester across the meadows. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 21:06:21 @denmarkguy   This is the third time I've come across Weku now and twice in as many days @denmarkguy. I can't imagine having the enthusiasm or energy to post there as well as here but when I've got some time I'll have a look around and see what others I know are doing. One person, for example is only upvoting for now. Someone else said they were going to copy their posts from here over there. But I notice they have now got a Weku Cleaner and I'm wondering whether it would pick copied posts up and think they are plagiarised. Anyway. i look forward to hearing what you find out about it and whether you use it or not. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 20:47:06 @naldykendo   I'm glad you liked it @naldykendo. Thank you for stopping by. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 17:35:27 @qurator   Congratulations @swedishdragon on being this week's Shining Curite. Enjoy your time in the spot light! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 16:55:24 @margaretwise   I'm glad I made your day @margaretwise. It is a really fun place to visit. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 16:51:27 @indigoocean   Funnily enough @indigoocean I was thinking about you whilst getting some figures together. I had you in mind as someone who sails through such things with confidence and no worry. 😂 I've been surprised at just how tough this has felt today and the meeting hasn't even started yet. I've been getting quite tearful about it and have now added the fear of crying in front of the adviser to the stress! 😂 It's not the meeting of course but all the thinking about my future life that goes with it. And, a few regrets (which, of course, are a total waste of energy) about things I could have done differently. Yep. It's all the stories my head is making up that is causing the upset right now. Let's hope the meeting will put some of that to rest!
Comment 2018-09-19 16:45:54 @madlenfox   Aw. I love the little angel @madlenfox and his story. What a lovely reminder of these men and such a sweet spot to place it. I can see why local people would like to rest there. 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 16:35:33 @dosdudes   17 for me please @dosdudes. 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 15:30:42 @o07   That pretty much says it all @o07. 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 15:30:09 @o07   OMG. What? Eh? Woo Hoo! I'm so excited @o07. THANK YOU! That's only my third gold card. Cartwheels of delight are occurring in Hove. 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 15:00:42 @margaretwise   Oh. I see. Thank you @margaretwise. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 14:58:27 @adrianobalan   Gosh. It's been a long time since we've seen those @adrianobalan and it will be a long time before they come around again i think. 😢
Comment 2018-09-19 14:10:48 @glenalbrethsen    Of course, I would like you to stay, but not if it's essentially miserable or unfulfilling. thank you @glenalbrethsen. it doesn't make me miserable but i don't find it fulfilling but then I would never have take expectation. fulfillment for me has always come from family and friends really. Maybe from study but I've never found it in any type of work. don't have a better alternative at this point That's one of the major things that keeps me here and I'm pretty sure I'll stay until something better comes along. Unlike you I don't love to write though so that's not much of an incentive. 😁 The human nature bit I realised within the first couple of months of being here and, for the most part, I'm over that upsetting me know. Except for the odd personal thing like the Steem Cleaners flag. That really did take a lot of my remaining enthusiasm away. Anyhow. I'm still here, for now. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 13:38:12 @seanreilly    Was it an abbey/chapel, or just another part of the house? You obviously didn't read my first post @seanreilly. But, since it's you, I'll let you off. 😂 It's another part of the house that was damaged by fire. And the ruins aren't really that old. The house was built in the style of an old manor house in the 1920s. I think that's right. I'd have to read my earlier post to be sure. 😂 That explains why there are "in good shape as far as ruins go". Well spotted!
Comment 2018-09-19 13:33:21 @exyle   that month has gone really quickly. i agree @exyle. It's shame you didn't plan to move on and satisfy your wander lust. Maybe you can start planning your next trip when you got home. 😊 Safe travels!
Comment 2018-09-19 12:54:09 @phortun    Happy to pay 1 SBI share for you! Thank you @phortun. Every bit helps> I appreciate it. But I honestly don't think I could post and comment my way to 5000. It took me 8 months to get to a 1000 and, as more time passes, the harder and harder it will get to earn SP from blogging from what I've heard. Without an account with a lot of clout upvoting my posts I no longer believe it is possible. Either that or I'm missing a trick somewhere. 😂 Thanks again for the SBI share and congratulations again on your dophinhood! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 12:38:03 @sjarvie5   Thank you @sjarvie5. Nymans house and gardens certainly make a great morning or afternoon out. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 11:51:24 @indigoocean   It is a crazy world @indigoocean. I couldn't agree more. One of my personal bug bears is the whole political correctness thing and health and safety rules. Some of those are completely nuts. And don't get me started on gender neutral. Sadly I don't find these things amusing a lot of the time, like today, when I'm in a bit of a grump because I have an appointment with a financial adviser. that alone is enough to make the world a grey place for a while. It has to be done though.
Comment 2018-09-19 11:47:15 @glenalbrethsen   Why Are You Here? is a good question @glenabrethsen and one I frequently ask myself. To be honest I haven't come up with a satisfactory answer and it seems to change from week to week anyway. I'm not a very "answer your why" sort of person. I'm more of a go with the flow and see what happens type. More of a "why not?" I don't think life is as black and white as we pretend it is most times. This whole find your passion/purpose thing can be a big red herring I think. Some people find it helpful and others don't but the consensus seems to be that life is so much better if you know what your "purpose" is. I'm more of the ilk that such things can't be known. We can pretend we know, if that makes us feel better, but I believe it is ultimately unknowable. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 11:39:54 @madeyearcher   Hi @madeyearcher apologies but please can the take me off your list for this. I think I was being a bit ambitious to think I could fit this in. I'm going to be travelling and away from home for 5 days at the end of next week so won't have time to focus on it. Next time maybe! 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 10:52:24 @joanstewart   You are welcome @joanstewart. Wild flowers truly are a beautiful sight to behold. I'm so happy they've become so trendy here. 😁 Thank you for visiting.
Comment 2018-09-19 10:11:27 @adrianobalan   Very a very pretty flower @adrianobalan. The colour is gorgeous.
Comment 2018-09-19 10:10:18 @immarojas   that is one very impressive tree @immarojas. If it were mine I might be tempted to cut off some of the dead branches and see if it comes to life again. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 10:06:03 @steemexplorers   Thank you for the opportunity @steemexplorers. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 10:02:12 @getonthetrain   Well. I opened a load of pages in my browser to read @getonthetrain but ran out of time and had to close them all again. Hopefully I'll be reminded every time I see you post. 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 10:00:15 @ackhoo   Thank you @ackhoo. I hope you have a great week too! 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 09:58:12 @violetmed   That's interesting to hear, how they got their name @violetmed. They look very pretty in your photographs, especially the top one with the soft background. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 09:56:15 @spozone   I can understand why you would miss trees. That's one of the things I don't like about living in a hot climate - the lack of deciduous trees. And the lack of green in general. I'm happy to put up with a little rain if I can be surrounded by lush green vistas for much of the year. 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 09:53:15 @phortun   Wow. That's amazing to achieve that in 10 months @phortun. I've been here 9 and have only earned about 1000 SP from writing despite working my socks off. Congratulations on becoming a dolphin. I'm gobsmacked! 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 09:45:42 @indigoocean   Aw. That must be a bit frustrating @indigoocean. That sometimes happens to me on posts I'm viewing too. I don't think I'm taking high resolution photographs. It's only my phone and I decrease the size of all of them before I post them anyway. I'm glad you got to see them eventually. Most of my posts wouldn't make sense without them. 😁
Comment 2018-09-19 09:44:03 @world-travel-pro   $1.05 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 08:50:33 @dswigle   Thank you @dswigle. 😁 I wouldn't mind having a shop there. Yep. I could imagine you shopping there. There are lots of little shopping areas in Brighton and Hove that you would love. They charged to see the pier? Do tell! The West Pier was a ruin for a long time but, before the arson attacks, the ballroom was still standing of some of the little Victorian Booths. So they used to do guided tours of those bits and tell you about the history. Had I known the pier was gong to be destroyed I would probably have gone on the tour but, at the time, £15 was a bit outside my budget for such a thing.
Comment 2018-09-19 08:50:12 @cyclamen   Those apple look yummy @cyclamen. Will you be picking any? 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 08:19:21 @poyim   Ah. I see. it's The Emperors New Groove @poyim. Sadly I'm in the wrong time zone to see the hints fast enough. 😢 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 08:16:51 @otage   A beautiful sunset picture @otage. The composition in quite unusual and thus makes it more interesting. In my opinioin! 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 08:14:48 @janton   Hi @janton Yep the colours will get even more striking. I'm looking forward to taking and posting photographs of them as I wasn't on Steemit in autumn last year. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 08:12:45 @margaretwise   I was a bit confused as to which one was which @margaretwise but I prefer the photographs where the colours are more subtle. I like the relaxing feel to them. i am less keen on the bright colours. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 08:10:21 @anutu   Thank you @anutu. I love monochrome but only in small doses! 😂
Comment 2018-09-19 08:07:36 @jacey.boldart   Ha, ha indeed @jacey.boldart. Our neighbour has a virginia creeper too which is only just starting to turn red. I'm hoping to get a photograph of that one when it turns fully. The tricky bit is finding a day when the wind is still as they are so light they blow around a lot which doesn't make for good photographs. 😊 Thank you for visiting.
Comment 2018-09-19 08:06:39 @fotosdenada   Oh dear. That won't be much help for your photography @fotosdenada. I wasn't on Steemit last autumn so I didn't take many photographs of colourful trees. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can capture this year. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 08:04:39 @glenalbrethsen   I've been on Steempeak a couple of times but only used it once I think. I'm too impatient to get used to something new but it's time might come if I hang around. The Steemit UI will probably get more and more out of date I suspect. 😊
Comment 2018-09-19 07:45:33 @dedicatedguy   Glad you like them @dedicatedguy. Thanks for stopping by. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 22:07:30 @anutu   That's nice to have a vote for the monochrome one @anutu. So far everyone else has preferred the coloured one. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 22:02:18 @o07   Excellent. Thank you @o07.
Comment 2018-09-18 22:01:18 @glenalbrethsen   that was lucky then @glenalbrethsen. I usually save my unpublished posts in a text file anyway. I've lost too many drafts not too. 😁

Comment 2018-09-18 21:59:48 @fotosdenada   I like that photograph @fotosdenada. it looks kind of comforting and homely. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 21:59:24 @monstermadness   Thank you for another giveaway @monstermadness. I'm just off to bed so hope this comment will suffice. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 21:56:09 @old-guy-photos   That's an interesting tree @old-guy-photos. It's not one I've seen before. Here's my post: https://steemit.com/nature/@gillianpearce/nymans-gardens-vistas-and-trees
Comment 2018-09-18 21:50:45 @exyle   Ha, ha, ha. @exyle. i was waiting for your post. I knew it wouldn't be long. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 21:45:27 @steemmonstershow   Aw. That's a shame. it's a bit late for me @steemmonstershow. Another time maybe. 😊 have a fun one!

Comment 2018-09-18 21:38:15 @bluefinstudios   Yum. Yum. @bluefinstudios. They all sound delicious. And do you make the muffins yourself too? 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 21:36:48 @adrianobalan   Stunning photography @adrianobalan. The colours are wonderful. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 21:36:12 @world-travel-pro   I thought i already guessed this one this morning @world-travel-pro!

Comment 2018-09-18 21:23:45 @madlenfox   That's one of the reasons I love having visitors. You get to see things through their eyes. I think your city and mine are similar in lots of ways. Having a lot of beauty and history. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 21:19:51 @mcfarhat   Ha, ha, ha. There's no way I can do a plank @mcfarhat. I can't even do push ups from my knees. I can see how it might be difficult to measure progress though. If I think of anything that would work for those of us less fit I'll let you know.
Comment 2018-09-18 21:10:24 @glenalbrethsen   You list is very similar to mine @glenalbrethsen although I couldn't get on to Steempeak. I had the idea as you to write a draft post but I had to do mine in a plain old text file. Watch Steemworld cycle through error messages and nodes. i didn't do this one either nor played with the grandchildren as they weren't in the vicinity. otherwise I was pretty much on the same page. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 21:04:45 @madlenfox   I'm very used to the streets around here @madlenfox but every now and then I try to look at them like a visitor might. And then they are very grand! 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 20:42:21 @old-guy-photos   Only if you scroll down @old-guy-photos. I had to try and keep everyone happy! 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 20:33:45 @redrica   I quite fancy the cake and dessert one but if I go to Krakow we'll be looking after the grandchildren that day so I'm not sure about that one either. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 19:47:09 @sallybeth23   Have a safe trip @sallybeth23. I look forward to hearing about your adventures i Spain. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 19:04:03 @emmamia   what an amazing collection of mushrooms from just one walk @emmamia. Looks like you had a fun time. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 19:03:24 @redrica   I wish I lived closer @redrica. I loved to go to one of Alla's supper clubs. Not sure I'd be able to eat all that though. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 18:51:24 @emmamia    I'm not even sure what I want. It's just as well you don't have any control over it then @emmamia. 😂 That statement applies to all sorts of things in my life at the moment. The weather is the least of them. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 18:14:39 @dosdudes   I haven't decided how may beta packs I'll buy yet @dosdudes. Depends partly on if the credit card functions is working or not. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 17:38:12 @madlenfox   Yes. I did @madlenfox. But I can't remember what they are off hand. There are 3 or 4 different levels I think. They are on the site. Going over to discord now. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 17:08:57 @madlenfox    I hope of course you took pictures of them? I didn't @madlenfox. As soon as I took my phone out the wind started blowing them around. They are quite big roses on thin stalks so they were moving about too much. I'll see tomorrow if the wind has dropped a bit. I refuse this trip Oh. That is a shame. I still haven't decided and your being there would have been one of the things on the positive side. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 17:05:57 @bluefinstudios   Interesting @bluefinstudios. Do you eat it on toast that you would regular marmalade? 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 16:39:27 @madlenfox   I noticed a really pretty rose bush in the garden next door today @madlenfox. The bush itself is looking the worst for wear but the flowers are still really beautiful and there are many of them. It is interesting how different they are from each other. I think the position they are planted has an effect too. 😊 Did you get around to booking anything for Steemfest in the end?
Comment 2018-09-18 16:36:48 @ana-maria   No. Photo editing is not my strong point either @anamaria. I just tend to use what I can in Google photos. I give up quickly on my phone which, of course, means my skills there don't ever improve. I've used Steepshot to post a couple of times but found it so frustrating I gave up and waited until I got home. Some with Partiko. In fact I found that was even worse. But you seem to be using it OK. Good for you! 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 16:27:24 @jonnyla08   Congratulations @jznsamuel. Thanks for the giveaway @jonnyla08, 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 16:22:18 @ana-maria   Those are quite clever apps @ana-maria. Thank you for the reviews. I find that editing on my phone is just too hard for me so nearly always resort to using my computer. 😢
Comment 2018-09-18 16:15:45 @madeyearcher   I'll have a go too @madeyearcher. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 16:06:12 @glenalbrethsen    Which is really a lot like how we live our lives anyway, not knowing what's going to happen, fate or not. Exactly @glenalbrethsen. I think we all like to think we have a lot more control than we actually do. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 16:05:45 @indigoocean    On the timezone, I think everything went down after you'd gotten through most of your day, but for me it went down before I got up. So the entire day I had no access. Ah I see. No it went down late morning but as I as out all day I wan't affected by it until the evening. Well that, and the fact that I couldn't buy some Steem as planned and then it shot up today. 😢 My picture of you "getting out more" was more wandering through the landscape, enjoying the surrounding and looking for a suitable spot to sit an work. Of course, interenet access might be a problem but you could just write. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 16:05:18 @dosdudes   Wow. What a fantastic prize. Lucky you @bobbythegreat. Thanks to @dosdudes for the giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:53:42 @poyim   Thanks @poyim. I've already had a go at the next one. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 15:52:00 @glenalbrethsen    if they were meant to die crossing the street, which is what you presumably avoid if you look both ways, they would die regardless of any action to the contrary they took. Or conversely, if they weren't meant to die and wanted to commit suicide by walking in front of a lorry they wouldn't be able to do so. Perhaps they would trip up and thus get the timing wrong. Or the lorry driver would not be paying attention and would run out of fuel and come to a grinding halt. Blimey. I must have got out of bed the wrong side this morning. My mind went running off there and I ended up deleted a load of what I'd written. 😂 I suppose then, the true trick of this would be to know what your fate/destiny truly is, and then act accordingly But how could you act accordingly if it was predetermined. That's my point I think. either it is predetermine or it isn't. There is not in between. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:45:36 @poyim   Strictly Baby Disco 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:38:48 @glenalbrethsen   Yep. I knew you were busy supporting your wife and that she had now gone to Mexico. 😁 Sounds like the next couple of weeks will be a more accurate representation of how engaged you're feeling and how much time to want to dedicate to this. I'm finding that I'm dedicating less and less time here. Somehow I've managed to stay in the top 20 but I'm not sure how long that will last. Especially as I've decided to start a new account for some Steem Monsters posts so as not to bore people here. Mind you, there aren't that many people left around to bore anyway! 😂 Anyway. It's nice to have your around a bit more again.
Comment 2018-09-18 15:32:00 @indigoocean   Even if the issue turns out to be sitting in front of a screen in general @indigoocean maybe you will be able to get out and about more with your new lighter laptop. Perhaps you could go for a walk with it and then sit in the shade under a tree or something. 😁 You are lucky for the timezone where you are given when the witnesses who tried to cut over to HF20 early did so. Not sure what you mean by this. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 15:23:36 @klw   Thank you for the giveaway @klw. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:23:09 @madlenfox   Yes. I think it might have been better to have edited the black and white one a bit and remove some of the black frame. But as I mentioned to Glen I like the bits of wood sticking out underneath the window and decided to leave it as it is. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:22:48 @monstermadness   Congratulations on your win @jznsamuel. Thank you for the giveaway @monstermadness. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:22:24 @dosdudes   Congratulations on your win @stnr. Thanks for the giveaway @dosdudes. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:22:00 @glenalbrethsen    Good pictures are good pictures, regardless of what they were taken with. My hope is that's the main criteria. It depends on the particular contest @glenalbrethsen and, like many things around here, many are very "in crowd" supportive. I wish I knew how to get into one of those groups where you end up with over 100 votes every time you post. They might not be worth much now but when Steem goes back up that would make a huge difference. My most favourite contests have all fizzled out which is a shame as they were more about creativity than photographic skills per se. Have you left the engagement league for the timing being or just taking a break? 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:21:24 @adrianobalan   I love the vibrancy of these flowers @adrianobalan. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 15:21:00 @immarojas   No way would I have have guessed that was a lamp @immarojas. But I light the effect when you see it lit up. Not sure about those sticky outy pokey in the eye bits though. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 15:20:30 @actifit    The person who registers the longest timing in his plank video will be the winner. It would be great if some of these competitions were about improvement rather than absolute numbers @actifit. Those of use who are older and just beginning to exercise will never be able to compete with the youngsters and the already fit! If you want to drive "everyone" to greater fitness that's a consideration I feel.
Comment 2018-09-18 15:16:48 @world-travel-pro   You old romantic you @world-travel-pro. $1.24 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 14:58:42 @rentmoney   https://steemit.com/quote/@gillianpearce/quotes-that-get-up-my-nose-001 Thanks @rentmoney
Comment 2018-09-18 12:43:48 @exyle   Thank you for the heads up @exyle. I will let you know if I see one. I had something similar over the weekend but not with your name.
Comment 2018-09-18 11:06:54 @immarojas   Oh well. At least it began with "d" @immarojas. I got that bit right. it could be worse! 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 10:45:24 @exyle   I wasn't that bothered by Steemit's downtime as I was out all day. The biggest hassle was when I sat down yesterday evening to buy some Steem via Blocktrades and couldn't. That was at 0.71c. Now look at it! I shall be waiting to see if it comes back down again. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 10:12:48 @purpledaisy57   It is just one day. On Mondays @purpledaisy57 and, basically, you just make a post with a black and white photograph in it and then post it on @old-guy-photos pose each week. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 10:10:39 @old-guy-photos   I thought I'd finally got one @old-guy-photos but, no, it was a computer not a router! 😂 I managed to get my monochrome Monday post up before Steemit crashed. shame there was no-one around to see it! Here you go: https://steemit.com/sevendaysoutside/@gillianpearce/monochrome-ruin-window
Comment 2018-09-18 10:02:42 @phortun   Beautiful photographs @phortun. It looks so peaceful there. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 09:53:33 @monochromes   I LOVE these mash-ups @ykdesign. I know I've said it before but they are soooo creative. 😁 Where did you use the photo with the boat in it? I can't spot it at all. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 09:38:45 @coruscate   Congratulations on getting to the final round @curuscate. My experience of engagement on Steemit has been similar to yours and it was critical to my getting started and continuing here. I really hope that you can win a ticket and get to meet even more of your followers that haven't had the chance to meet you in person yet.
Comment 2018-09-18 09:03:27 @immarojas    we don't have any durian tree Gillian I must be getting confused then @immarojas. What was that post you made about a tree not having much fruit despite being quite old? I thought that was a durian. 😂 My memory is not was it once was! 😢
Comment 2018-09-18 09:01:30 @trincowski   That's a great quote @trinscowski. I reckon both might be true. 😂
Comment 2018-09-18 08:58:57 @abh12345   Congratulations on winning a ticket to Steemfest @abh12345. That's pretty impressive! 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 08:18:54 @adrianobalan   that first photograph is very beautiful @adrianobalan. The colour is lovely.. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 08:13:51 @getonthetrain   I might give this a go @getonthetrain. Since I'm older the benefits should be greater. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 08:10:33 @playfulfoodie   We had an amazing day weather-wise yesterday too @playfulfoodie so it was not bother for me that Steemit was down. I only noticed in the evening when I wanted to put up a post. I'm glad to hear you had a nice long weekend with your husband and you're making the most of the gorgeous weather. Although, it's a bit of a contrast today - grey and overcast here. Have fun today! 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 08:05:39 @mariannewest    which has its doors open uninterrupted since the day it started. That is an incredible feat @mariannewest. The trading post sounds like an interesting place to visit and shop! 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 08:03:24 @sagescrub   Thank you @sagescrub. I am glad you liked it. It was one of those serendipitous finds. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 08:02:15 @sallybeth23   Very lovely @sallybeth23. That top one looks like a piece of jewellery. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 08:01:15 @indigoocean   My day without Steem wasn't too affected really since I was out anyway. i published a post in the morning, answered comments and the went out for lunch with a friend, a creative play afternoon and then a long walk along the seafront. It was only when I got home that I found Steem down and faffed about in the evening because I wanted to put up another post. It's interesting you say that working outside "helps" as I don't find that to be the case for me. Inside or outside what really makes the difference is spending less time in front of a computer screen. I spend so many hours here I feel my life contracts as a result of it and I don't really notice until I get up and go out or stay in and do something creative. It doesn't really matter which so long as it is away from the screen. 😊 I hope you manage to have plenty of outside time today! 💙
Comment 2018-09-18 07:55:18 @glenalbrethsen    I do, however, hope that one or the other does well in either or both contests you're entered in. Thank you @glenalbrethsen. There's not much chance in one of them I would say. it tends to be more professional photographers that win the prizes. I use it more as a way to narrow down my choices of what to post. 😁 I did think about editing the black and white to make the frame smaller but I like the bits of wood sticking out underneath the window and decided to live it as it is.
Comment 2018-09-18 07:50:51 @o07   Congratulations @allcapsonezero and thanks for the opportunity again @o07. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:49:48 @onceuponatime   Very creative @onceuponatime. I need to expand my horizons and stop focusing on just the one shot in such situations. 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 07:47:39 @dosdudes   17 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:46:18 @adrianobalan   Lovely shots of Osteospermums @adrianobalan. I like the purple one especially. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:43:15 @ninahaskin   Thank you @ninahaskin. A window on a submarine is pretty creative too! 😁
Comment 2018-09-18 07:42:33 @deemarshall   green 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:42:12 @madlenfox   I like this sculpture and the other one you showed us @madlenfox. You've reminded me of one we have on the seafront where you have to be at just the right angle to see what it is. It's at the far end of town but I will try and remember to photograph it next time i'm down that way. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:37:09 @exyle   Glad our tests came out 100% healthy. I was out all day yesterday so the timing of the black chain being down, wasn't too bad for me. It just meant I was unable to post in the evening as planned. 😊
Comment 2018-09-18 07:32:15 @abh12345   A nicely put together post @abh12345. Fingers crossed it does the trick! 😁
Comment 2018-09-17 10:07:42 @viruk   Maybe best to ask the people selling them @viruk. I just saw someone say, on a different post, that now is the best time to plant roses! 😊 that doesn't seem right to me but then I'm not really that knowledgeable! 😁
Comment 2018-09-17 10:06:06 @sallybeth23   Roses are a great positive of living in a temperate climate @sallybeth23. 😁 Their scent is heavenly and I would miss them I think if I lived in the jungle.
Comment 2018-09-17 10:05:33 @bluefinstudios   Thank you @bluefinstudios. I have never tried Rose Hip marmalade but I've seen a few people mention it on Steemit. I can't imagine it. Does it taste of roses? 😁
Comment 2018-09-17 10:05:09 @sparkesy43   Thank you @sparkesy43. What a nice surprise! 😊
Comment 2018-09-17 10:04:45 @rentmoney   Cheers @rentmoney. It was a nice surprise to wake up to! 😊

Comment 2018-09-17 09:37:15 @dosdudes   31 25 3 (17)
Comment 2018-09-17 07:54:33 @viruk   Probably worth asking the people selling them @viruk? They should know if they will make it through the winter. Personally I would wait for Spring. 😁
Comment 2018-09-17 07:33:39 @exyle   What a great thing to do @exyle. I'm so glad Bianca has got to spend a lot of time with her family on this trip. This must miss them so much at times. it looks like a lot of fun! 😊
Comment 2018-09-17 06:55:42 @immarojas   Wow. That was sounds like some storm @immarojas. Looks like someone's going to be going to be doing a bit of gardening and clearing up. Hopefully mango trees don't take too long to grow. What happened to the durian? 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 21:22:54 @rimicane   Thank you @rimicane. I don't think they will last much longer now. 😢
Comment 2018-09-16 21:10:21 @keithboone   Wow. What a beast that GMC Titan truck is @keithboone. i have never seen anything like it! 😱 So happy to hear you're home safe and sound. What a mamouth drive that was. I can imagine how wonderful it must have felt to wake up in your own bed. 😁

Comment 2018-09-16 21:01:45 @curatorcat   Yes. I'm surprised they are still blooming @curatorcat. Ours finished a few weeks ago. Time to prune them back now I think. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 20:59:57 @viruk   i would have thought it was too late to plant roses now @viruk. You need to plant at the beginning of the growing season I think. We are getting ready to prune ours hard back. It finished flowering a while ago. 😁
Comment 2018-09-16 20:48:45 @sumatranate   Yep. I meant critical as in very important @sumantrate. 😁
Comment 2018-09-16 19:44:03 @dosdudes   Congratulations to @mightypanda. Thank you for the giveaway @dosdudes. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 19:27:15 @otage   I don't think I ever actually saw Taxi Driver @otage but my partner uses that line frequently. It's a bit of a family joke.
Comment 2018-09-16 18:56:33 @emmamia   It looks like you've been very busy again @emmamia. i like your black and white food photography. It all looks very bountiful. 😁m

Comment 2018-09-16 18:26:00 @adrianobalan   i was just about to make a post about roses too @adrianobalan. Ours, like yours in the top picture, are fast going over. 😢

Comment 2018-09-16 18:25:00 @scrooger   OK.Thanks for the information @scrooger. As I mentioned, I didn't realise you got an upvote from them. Looks like it might be worth a go. 😁
Comment 2018-09-16 18:23:51 @monstermadness   If the animated corpse meets the devine healer will he be able to rest in peace? Thanks for the contest @monstermadness.😊
Comment 2018-09-16 18:23:24 @seanreilly   you choose lamp post number three for what @seanreilly - to chain your bicycle too? no need. There are plenty of bike racks if people could be bothered to use them! 😁

Comment 2018-09-16 16:13:57 @masterthematrix   Thanks @mastermatrix. I'm learning slowly, slowly. I don't have much time to dedicate to it but I'm OK with that. I'm consciously spending less time in front of a computer these days so wouldn't want to get too engrossed! 😂
Comment 2018-09-16 16:12:27 @abh12345   thank you for the spot prize again @abh12345. it's very much appreciated as always. It's interesting to see a new crowd taking to the top. 😁 Have a fun week one and all!

Comment 2018-09-16 11:23:06 @exyle   Yep. We would call that pool too @exyle. But the colours look different. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 10:55:12 @immarojas    They're used to it and probably are taking it better than me Well that's good to hear at least. In a convoluted kind of way. I was thinking it must be part and parcel of their farming year. 😢
Comment 2018-09-16 10:38:39 @madeyearcher   Thank you for the opportunity @madeyearcher. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 10:22:42 @allasyummyfood   On my. Those cakes look amazing @allasyummyfood. I would love to come and sample those but I think we're on child care duty that day. 😢 if it gets changed I'll let you know. I'm sure it will be a huge success. 💙
Comment 2018-09-16 10:17:42 @world-travel-pro   Thanks so much for the cucumber win @world-travel-pro, I was beginning to think I'@d lost my touch! 😂 Here's my guess for the honey - $0.65
Comment 2018-09-16 10:07:30 @adrianobalan   You can't go wrong with roses @adrianobalan. Love shots as always. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 10:06:15 @sumatranate   I also thought, for a moment there, that you have been blacklisted @sumatranate until I reread your disclaimer at the top. 😊 I've never been blacklisted but I had someone asking Busy to do so. Bascically I was flagged 100% by Steem Cleaners. One moderator removed the flag and said it should never have been given. another one wouldn't let it go and bad mouthed me a number of times. The funny thing about blacklists is that they can be somewhat arbitrary - meaning that the criteria for being placed on a blacklist can be based on personal preference. This paragraph of yours is critical I think. The whole experience was pretty distressing to me and has changed my behaviour on Steemit. I post less frequently and I avoid articles that need a lot of background research.
Comment 2018-09-16 10:00:39 @cryptocariad   I had a good look around too @cryptocariad but couldn't find anything either. My guess would be that it was Victorian, from the way it looks, but it could just as easily be a replica. it's frustrating when you can't find out this sort of information isn't it? 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:46:39 @sallybeth23   Wow. Those waves are impressive @sallybeth23. It looks like you had a lovely walk, as always. Have a fun Sunday. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:44:48 @legendchew   It was a very impressive door @legendchew. Thank you for stopping by. 😁
Comment 2018-09-16 09:43:36 @sumatranate   I have to admit to opening, or at least trying to open, many of those shut doors, in my life time @sumatranate. So far, I have found nothing very exciting behind any of them. 😂
Comment 2018-09-16 09:40:09 @dswigle   I'm having a great weekend so far @dswigle. I hope you are too. 💙 We went to Nyman's House and Gardens yesterday which was an abundant opportunity for interesting and pretty photographs. I have posted a couple and just need to organise the others. Then finished we a BBQ with the neighbours. Very nice. although we got into a conversation about Cryptocurrency and the one who was most interested in the topic insisted that it was all a pyramid scheme. I didn't really have an answer as to why it isn't? 😕 😂
Comment 2018-09-16 09:35:00 @starjewel   @erikah's challenge is a really fun one @starjewel. Lots of interesting topics, at least to me, to photograph. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:33:30 @immarojas   Will the rices fields recover @immarojas, as they dry out? Glad to hear you're safe and sound. 💙
Comment 2018-09-16 09:32:03 @tattoodjay   The ones I saw yesterday were even more impressive in my opinion @tattoodjay. I hope to make a post with them soon. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:30:06 @jonnyla08   Congratulations @marianaemilia and thanks @jonnyla08 for the opportunity. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:28:57 @monstermadness   Congratulations @funnel. And thank you for the opportunity @monstermadness. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:28:03 @joetunex   Thank you @joetunex. Glad you like it. 😊
Comment 2018-09-16 09:24:42 @heidimarie   thank you for nice selection of photographs @heidimarie. I especially like the one with the horse carriage. 😊 Have a lovely Sunday.
Comment 2018-09-16 09:12:54 @cryptocariad   I love these old fashioned lamp posts @cryptocariad. That one's very pretty. We still have some in Brighton and Hove but not as many as the modern ones.
Comment 2018-09-16 09:11:21 @phortun   Aw. That's a shame you got engrossed in Steemit @phortun and forgot to take the photographs. That would have been an interesting sequence to see. Maybe you could try again for us? 😁
Comment 2018-09-16 09:04:36 @masterthematrix   Hi @masterthematrix What I like must about Steem Monsters is it's something completely new to me. I know nothing about these sorts of games and I'm enjoying the challenge learning about it. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:26:06 @papilloncharity   thank you @papilloncharity. They are very beautiful although it's easy to take them or granted when you live around here. 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 22:25:45 @adrianobalan   The colour of those grapes is quite exquisite @adrianobalan. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:25:21 @fotosdenada    It wood be fun to see that photo taken from the same spot, when the restaurant is complete. Good idea @fotosdenada. I will try and remember to do that! 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 22:24:57 @sumatranate    But your comment has uplighted me even more. That's nice to hear @sumatranate. I'm glad it had that effect, 😊 we have a great opportunity to strengthen bonds between those of us who are still around. I couldn't agree more . And with fewer people around it makes it easier because it doesn't take as long to reply to those I want to reply to. 😊 now following. me too! 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 22:24:33 @madlenfox   Yep. It is a really interesting building @madlenfox. Much of the house is still in it's original condition and can be visited. I actually like the ruins so not sure what I feel about turning them into a restaurant. At the moment I think they have the best of both worlds. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:24:12 @masterthematrix   Thank you @masterthematrix. Apologies. I thought I had upvoted. All sorted now. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:23:42 @emmamia   Wow. That s one impressive log pile @emmamia. We had a BBQ this evening too although with not as much meat as you had in your photograph! 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 22:23:18 @cryptocariad   The rest of the house, that wasn't destroyed in the fire, is open to the public and is very interesting @cryptocariad and the gardens are gorgeous. All in all it's a great place to visit. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:22:54 @o07   Congratulations on your win @trisquelwhale. You seem to be having some nice wins lately! 😊 And thanks to @o07 for the giveaway.
Comment 2018-09-15 22:22:33 @sunnylife   Quit worrying is a great message @sunnylife. Worrying has absolutely no value at all. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:22:09 @dosdudes   Conratulations @sparkesy43 and thanks to @dosdudes for the giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:21:00 @sunnylife   I would like to go back too @sunnylife. We only saw Budapest and these River bend towns when we were there. 😊 Thank you for visiting.
Comment 2018-09-15 22:20:27 @scrooger    As a minnow and a content creator it is almost a no brainer to delegate to them. Why do you say this @scrooger? Is it because of the upvotes? I didn't know they upvoted to be honest. I think I'm one of the few people around who's not a big fan.
Comment 2018-09-15 22:19:51 @adrianobalan   Grapes and apples I'll take but you can keep the gooseberries @adrianobalan. 😂
Comment 2018-09-15 22:19:30 @moderndayhippie   That's great to hear although still sounds a lot to handle @moderndayhippie. Glad you've avoided any major damage. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:19:09 @exyle   We're just off out to buy some meat too @exyle. We're having the mews BBQ tonight. We won't be buying big chunks like that. Fortunately the weather is glorious. The prosecco is in the fridge so once we get the meat and fire up the coals we'll be all set. 😊 Hope your early morning meat buying expedition was a successful one!
Comment 2018-09-15 22:18:39 @immarojas   i hope the typhoons are over soon and your mum is still smiling @immarojas. Sending lots of love. 💙
Comment 2018-09-15 22:18:15 @lynncoyle1   We are certainly not sort of old achitecture in Europe. We just visited a house today that had Medieval Doors. The were incredible. The house itself was built in the 1920s and I hope to get around to posting more about it at some point. 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 22:15:45 @exyle   That looks like a great value lunch @exyle. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 22:12:57 @lynncoyle1   I'm surprised you missed the whole "flag" thing @lynncoyle1. It was very upsetting at the time so I don't really want to drag it all up again. If you look at my post about the thanka painters you will see where it all began, but it carried on in various Discord channels and was very unpleasant. It made me take a big step back from Steemit and I have not changed my mind on that. As you say, just the fact that Steem Monsters is new, is a big plus for me. it's not really my thing though so I'm not sure how long my interest will last. Some people have already spent thousands of dollars on cards and the game hasn't even started yet. As an outsider it all seem to be getting a little bit out of control but we shall see. 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 21:56:39 @madlenfox   Ah. Interesting @maddlenfox. I didn't realise it was that big. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 17:52:06 @masterthematrix   I like the Divine Healer. From the numbers I don't think she's that powerful but I hoping to find out otherwise once game play starts. I just really like the art work. 😁 My Steem Monsters account is @gillianpearce Thanks for the giveaway. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 17:51:09 @dosdudes   19 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 17:49:33 @dosdudes   19 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 17:48:45 @lloyddavis    I didn't see mine coming I know @lloyddavis. I'm hoping mine will follow yours. 😂 I refuse to use 'awesome' nowadays. It's been ruined for me. I prefer awe inspiring.
Comment 2018-09-15 17:06:33 @nolasco    That's one of the magical things about photography Yep. That's one of my favourite things about it too @nolasco but that photograph must have been a particularly gratifying surprise. 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 16:57:24 @dosdudes   Congratulations to @mys @kiokizz @simplymike @newbiegames @tonygreene113 and thanks to @dosdudes for the giveaway. Those lucky numbers 7 and 13 seem to be working well! 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 16:55:06 @stephenkendal   Oh. OK. Thanks for the heads up @stephenkendal. I have 20th October on my calendar but hadn't heard anymore about it. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 16:50:18 @madlenfox   That looks like a very interesting sculpture @madlenfox but one you probably need to walk around to get the full effect. 😊
Comment 2018-09-15 16:49:06 @immarojas   I hope it passes by without too much damage @immarojas. Be safe! 💙
Comment 2018-09-15 16:31:42 @molometer    wasn't the pier rebuilt once already No. It was never rebuilt @molometer. The did put some scaffolding up and stuff so that people could pay £15 to go on a guided tour of the ruin. That was before the arson attacks. Just followed you 'again' somehow you vanished from my follower list I think I've vanished from a few people's follower lists recently. Maybe they're having a clean out because of this steem-ua thing. I'm very glad to be back on yours at least! 😁
Comment 2018-09-15 16:28:06 @tobixen    Within few days he has become bankrupt. Wow. That's a pretty scary story @tobixen. I'm too emotional to make a good trader. I've been buying little bits of bit coin so I can buy some Steem but I never stick to the buy point I set myself. I keep hanging on in case it goes lower and then miss it! 😂
Comment 2018-09-15 16:26:48 @glenalbrethsen   I had a similar experience recently @glenalbrethsen, watching my 87 year old mother take an age to get through security, on her way home to Malta. it was horrible. It is extremely uncomfortable for her to stand still and for some reason she had to go in the scanner and try to hold her arms over her head. Something that is impossible for her to do nowadays and makes her dizzy. Then she was scanned and had a partial pat down. All while I had to stand helplessly and watch. I so wanted to run through and scream "take your hands off her". Fortunately, my mum took it in her stride and, as she didn't mention it afterwards I wasn't going to bring it up and ask what the problem was. One of the things I must miss from the "old days" is taking the kids up to the cock pit to meet the pilot and look around. I was able to do that a number of times with my daughter my never with my son. 😢
Comment 2018-09-15 16:19:09 @monstermadness   Thanks for the giveaway @monstermadness. Did you know, according to Mental Floss "China owns all of the pandas in the world. They rent them out for about $1 million a year."
Comment 2018-09-15 16:14:12 @lloyddavis   The Grand Canyon is still on my "must see" list @lloyddavis. But I have the rather ambitious ambition of doing the hike down and up. Not much chance of that I think. I'm still waiting for my fitness addict epiphany to hit. But you never know.
Comment 2018-09-15 16:07:39 @jonnyla08   47 @gillianpearce Thanks for the giveaways @jonnyla08.
Comment 2018-09-15 16:04:06 @abh12345   I don't use bid-bots as you know but I'm interested in the answers of those that actually do @abh12345. If I stop blogging I would probably go down the delegation route, simply because it seems to be one of the easiest. I can't imagine powering down for a long time. My account is too small for it to make any difference. I'm not sure I would delegate to @steem-ua though. Am I the only one who's not in love with it? 😂 Hope you've got time for some fun this weekend in between writing posts, doing the engagement league and working in the bar. Have you been paid yet?
Comment 2018-09-15 15:59:54 @lloyddavis   Have an account at Lloyds too @lloyddavis so I'll be interested to see if I get that option next time I log in. It wasn't there last time I did so but it was a while ago. 😁
